Hot Take, although I get the criticism of Sucker Punch, I recommend watching the Directors Extended Cut bc I found it a little better and not as confusing as the Theatrical version. I like it.

U mean Batman v Superman Ultimate edition? bc as far as I know there is no director's cut of Sucker Punch right now. Zack told that he wants to do it but it's not there yet.

There was a Blu-Ray Extended Edition that came out this year for its 10th Anniversary, it added like 18mins to the theatrical cut, but Zack has stated that it is NOT his cut and there is much more that was left in the cutting room. We will revisit Sucker Punch on the pod!

So, Zack had this as one movie but Netflix wanted to cut it down so they compromised and made it into two movies. So it should be cohesive and keep the momentum going. Excited for this 🤘🏻

In regards to sucker punch, theres an unseen directors cut that snyder would like to release thats been called the "the Snyder punch" cut. He was forced to change/cut the ending and some other scenes because the studio didnt like them. Im not sure it would fundamentally alter the movie as much as the Snyder cut of justice league did. It would probably be more of a BvS:UE situation where the changes just fix some issues and clear things up #ReleaseTheSnyderPunch
