Arms are often the most controlled part when working on a client. What do you say and how do you get them to Let Go??
@wendeboyd503
@wendeboyd503 8 ай бұрын
I do a gentle shake that works 98% of the time. Sometimes I have to shake, work a little, shake, work a little more, repeat until they let go.

I got a GF who went to Massage school at 50 and worked till she was 70! Also there is a granny in England who I think is 97 and still massaging ( she started at around 40 years of age) I myself have been massaging for 28 years now. I am turning 60 in September. I hope this helps:) Good luck! You got this!

You can definitely train in massage. There are many different modalities that are helpful so you can find one that works best for your body. I have been a licensed massage therapist for 41 years. I am 74 and learning every single day. It is such an amazing thing to do with your life. You will help so many people.

I am 63 and still do Bodywork now also somatic in combination. If our Bodywork has a background of a health-related modality (mine is TCM) then there are manny more options to make the work not 100% muscle work but becomes a holistic approach we then grow into with our own abilities who will pop up with practice. I would recommend anybody (anyhoa) going the Acupressure Route who are include different Bodywork techniques (all asian bodywork is targeted towards Health not just muscles) Like Thai-Belly-Massage (although I do it milder it is the understanding of like explained here on the Lymph - soooo much to help the Body! I am also a Buteyko Breathing instructor and this way we can integrate coaching for using the Diaphragm correctly - which most people don't and have not even an idea about... I help Lots and almost all of people especially as more they are stagnant - I can't think working to stop working❤ GO FOR IT !! There is no age-limit - why? Because just doing this is anti-aging. I have healed and made myself younger by constantly just being challenged by taking care of myself to proof it to people 😇 Not proof read - busy - hope its clear enough!
