“The tricky part of the videos, you can’t really feel what’s happening...” Oh ma’am, that’s where you’re wrong. As a bottom-up-thinker on the spectrum, your words bring epic levels of imagery to my mind. I feel every inch of your words in my being and I retain so much more coming from you than a structured classroom. Your dedication to anatomical and medical vocabulary helps me stuff my brain pockets like a kid in a candy store because you use “proper” terms and I can instantly infer what’s occurring and I don’t have to decipher my instructors “street vocabulary”.

wow thank you so much! i am 5 months into massage school and have just started doing clinics. Right before i enrolled my college shifted owners and the management has been extremely messy. I've spent four hours making notes off just this video and i feel more informed and confident than ever before about massaging. It's awesome seeing where i am now to how much I can grow. Rebel Massage is definitely my favorite class!

Youre amazing! I used one of your shoulder techniques (from another video) on my client who couldn't lift her arm. after 45 min of massaging and performing PIn and Stretch techniques, she was able to lift her arm laterally above her head. My goal with her is to get it to raise directly above. Anyway, your voice, cadence, and way you explain , all work together to make watching and listening to you a delight. Thank you!!

So do you believe trigger point therapy when their rhomboids are weak is counterproductive? If so, when do you work on the muscles adhensions on rhomboids or between both scapula? I tell them after the massage strengthen the muscles as well as stretching goes hand and hand. Anyhow, tell me your thoughts.

Just had an hr of this type of massage today! VERY tight back muscles, minimal flexibility in my shoulders, soreness than happens from my back to my sides. My therapist was great! Advised next time to go 1 1/2 hrs due to the severity and tightness she felt. Some of my session was “intense” ( never had a massage therapy session before). I did discover that am far more ticklish in spots than I thought I was! 😂... all good though . Fair balance from the intense manipulation I had done.. nothing wrong wit laughter 👍
