Rebels Campaign: Rome Total War #9 Macedon's Collapse

Welcome, to Part 9 of my Rome Total War Rebels Campaign!
In this Campaign I will rise my fellow Rebels to victory and free all in the world.
This Campaign is a challenge, as few settlements actually provide good units, but it balances is it, as rebel armies pop-up out of nowhere to join my cause.
In this episode, we attempt to push into Macedon and attempt to Destroy the Seleucid Empire.

I love trolling campaigns where you follow your allies n go into battle with em to "help them", and then SIT BACK n watch ur allies crumble due to the stupidity of the AI, and then afterwards yo claim the city as your own without having to life a finger LMAO.

For retraining hoplites in Thessalonica, you can take a unit from Athens, move it up to Thessalonica, but before putting it into Thessalonica, move all the units in Thessalonica out so there's no garrison. Then, after you move the unit from Athens in, it should call the settlement athenian rebels, and you should get the greek roster instead of the macedon roster, giving you the hoplites. Edit: Same thing for Larissa, if it doesn't already give you real hoplites

Is the victory goal still 50 including Rome?

I don't think there is a victory goal for Rebels. May be wrong.

@@MelkorGG Nope, when you capture the last settlement as rebels, you get the "city captured" note, and after you occupied the settlement nothing happens, you just have a complete campaign map.

According to the article on RTWHeaven, the victory goal for the Rebels is complete domination, or in other words, conquer every region. That could also be incorrect of course, but it would be very difficult to achieve if true. I've only managed full map conquest once, with the Julii, and it was such a slog.

The reason why pikes look so bad on paper is because they have 50% more soldiers than your average infantry unit ;)
