Like many collectables with "flaws" sometimes they have a greater value because there are just a few of them..I have this kit with the finger and short thigh, but not at all noticeable.

First I have to say I miss you sooooooooooooooo much. So much that I have gone back to your older videos. I remember seeing this video before I bought my LouLou. When I saw the baby for sale on Ebay I knew that I just had to have her. My Lou Lou is called Abigail Lou and is the most expensive doll I own and she will be a forever baby in my collection. I enjoy your kit reviews and even the one on this baby but nevertheless I am not bothered by the differences in this kit. Our real human babies are never perfect 100% even though we over look little flaws like ears that are pointed or sticking out or birth marks and we know they are "perfect" to us. Ty fir sharing your honest review! I like doing reviews and just did one last night of Zendric. I like giving reviews to help others as well. And I had to be honest too. I had issues with the proportions of Zendric. His legs are way to small and have no thigh etc. but the sculpting itself is beautiful but A I can’t get past the legs. I agree it was advertised as full limbs and Zendrics legs are definitely 3/4 which I don’t prefer.

I had heard about the 3/4 legs and the finger/thumb before I got my kit. Now I have my kit, and I love the face, but I feel tricked. I don’t buy kts with 3/4 legs, so had I known about that, it would’ve been a deal breaker, and I would’ve passed on the kit. Worse for me, though is the ‘monkey’ finger. That has put me off completely. I vote for the full disclosure of blank kits, before the pre orders open! I’m glad you’re getting better, dear girl. KZbin isn’t the same without your considerate, open honesty. Big hugs, ❤️

Really? I heard nothing. OMG you have me dye laughing calling it the monkey finger😆 I feel the exact same way. I was so pumped for this baby. The hype on social media was real for this little one. I just don't understand how thing went so wrong. I myself would not have purchased 3/4 limbs. That's a huge deal for me. I so agree with full disclosure. How on earth did every retailer not notice the legs? That seems impossible to me. Thank you so much for watching ❤️

Only watching this vid now as it came up as a recommended - whoever could have imagined what 2020 had in store for us :( You may have even had COVID-19 without even being aware! Anyhow the review on LouLou was interesting thank you. I recently purchased a LouLou reborn with painted hair and even knowing all the faults now I just adore her face and don't notice the flaws. She is a good seller and from what I have seen is snapped up quickly by collectors if the artist has done a good job reborning her. So for any artists that have purchased the blank kit......I am pretty sure you will not be out of money in the long run :) Heck if I saw one come up for sale with rooted hair I would probably snap her up in a heart beat :) But I also get the false advertising and hype and how artists would feel ripped off when purchasing these very expensive blank kits - LouLou (along with so many others) has also now been copied by the scam sites and being sold at a VERY discounted rip off price.

Hi Myra! Great to see you my dear! Glad your feeling so much better. I can only imagine your migraines with the sinus infection! 😤🤯 I appreciate your kit reviews so much because your honest which is what a review is supposed to be! That is most definitely 3/4 legs. Their is no upper thigh at all. Absolutely positively 3/4 legs!! You ladies are not going crazy lol. I wonder if they realize they made a mistake in the advertising on this kit? Hands down absolutely gorgeous face! Whole head is gorgeous!! Nice cranial structure there it looks like as well. Her little rolls & creases on her limbs are nice. But..... ummmmm... well the legs are two different lengths. Not just a little off they look waaaaay off?? Those proportions would throw me off so bad as a collector. The finger!! Ok I'll be nice & I will just say the finger would be the deal breaker for me. Well the 3/4 legs would be, but if they were full the finger would be a deal breaker bc that would drive me absolutely insane! But mind you I have become ridiculously picky with sculpts as a collector. If I were an artist & could paint my own for myself & others then I'm sure I would not be near as picky. Theirs way to much off which is a shame bc theirs alot of beautiful things right & most definitely that face! I wasn't even aware of all the hype & then what went down. I'd be a bit annoyed there too. Myra I give you a TON of credit for giving your honest reviews which will help so many ppl including sculptors to see what's important to artists/collectors as well as manufacturers & retailers. I know it's not easy when your an artist in this industry as well as the scrutiny being fair & honest can get you on YT. Your appreciated!! I'll leave you with this, this baby with this gorgeous face, beautiful vinyl & lots of other really cute features is going to be adorable in your hands! I can't wait to see him/her!! Stay warm!! Thank you so very much Tash. I really appreciate your input here. My girls and I thought we were the only ones who felt this way. As an artist you only get pickier. When you stare at these limbs day in and day out, it can bring on anxiety when you’re staring at a little finger you don't want to see lol 😆 She is truly beautiful still. I am still going to paint mine. Some already returned theirs. But I love her. She so darn adorable that I am going to keep mine😊 We’ll see what happens. Yup you will work your magic on this baby! Theirs ways to paint that finger that will make it appear shorter & more of a thumb proportion. I enjoy so much seeing all the different ways artists paint these kits. I've seen the same sculpt look like a totally different sculpt just by painting style which is so neat to see! For me what can happen is I won't bond with a baby, I'll know somethings off, but can't put my finger on it "no pun intended lol" & over time or even after selling the baby on I'll realize something pretty drastic was off on the proportions somewhere on that sculpt. I don't always pick up on things right away. So now I've learned to look at the kits & not only to look at the kits but to watch as many reviews on the kit or listen to others chatting about the kit as possible. This makes it so my chances are much higher that I will ultimately love the baby once I have it! I can imagine as an artist how fine tuned you are now to picking up on these things bc their staring you in the face so much! Lol but once this baby is all finished the little annoying stuff won't be any big deal & sometimes when we just over all love the sculpt it just doesn't matter! Theirs stuff not perfect on most! 😉😘

Well well well........I was so excited about this baby I must say.... For the fact it was advertised as being full limbs, and it will be a duplicate of the original silicon version that we all fell in love with. I couldn't wait.....So sad to say I was disappointed the legs are 3/4 and the limbs are not the same as the original silicon version.... But I love love the face however the thumb/ finger / 3/4 legs was a major disappointment for me.....Thank you for you honest review..... # thehypewasnotreal 🙄🤔😕😑😒

Debbie Bugay From what I heard, it was only the head that got casted from the original. She sculpted new limbs for the vinyl version. I also agree that they should have kept the original limbs. Yet still, she's beautiful. Thank you for watching😊

You are always so accurate and you share things with us that we wouldn’t know unless we purchase the kit. You have really shown me some things over the years and it’s helped me tremendously!! So I thank you for that. I am really disappointed to hear about the large edition amount. The fact that it was supposed to be limited, the lie about full limbs! That is NOT at all a full leg?! I think I can over look the extra long thumb as it could be chalked up as a genetic oddity. I have unusually short pinkies. Like with normal hands, the pinkie tip will reach the ring fingers top line? Its the crease or line on the palm that separates each little flange bone. Of that makes sense? My pinkie tip is almost a half inch shorter and very bowed in. Both pinkies are like this. Lol so the thumb is very distracting on the kit but not terrible to me. However the leg length is very irritating!! I do not like ¾ limbs!! But her hands and feet are very graceful and I'm happy about that. Not sure if I'll get this kit. She's adorable though. Maybe they will fix this in a second edition? Idk if you do paint this baby please show her. I am curious as to what she will look like painted not by a prototype artists. Thanks so much for doing this video!! 💜

I feel you😏 That is what got me as well. These babies are not cheap. When you purchase something off the internet, you expect to receive exactly what is promised/advertised. Especially since we don't have the option to walk into the store and see them up close for ourselves. The prototype pictures never show these issues. It's frustrating the amount of times this happens. The positive is that she is still a beautiful baby❤️ Thanks for watching 😘
