I am doing engineering in a college where no one is shia, I don't feel bored I consider this as opportunity to remember Allah every time. I always hang out alone during break time,this give me extra time to think of myself.

Would I go to a Hindu temple and expect to learn about Christianity there? No. Never. If I want to know anything about any faith/religion/school of thought, I need to study their authentic books. Sit down with their scholars and also visit place of their worship. Above all, I need to be openminded and free of bias. It is a fact that the vast majority of Muslims are victim of prejudice, brainwashing, ignorance and misconceptions when it comes to the school of the ahlulbayt. After the death of the holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his immaculate progeny), Muslims had two options for seeking guidance from; the ahlulbayt (household) of the holy Prophet. Others. The ahlulbayt are those family members of the holy Prophet who grew up in his blessed lap. Islam, Qur'an and the Shari'ah was revealed in their house. The angels descended with the blessings and mercy of Allah into their house. Allah testifies of their purity, infallibility and perfection in the holy Qur'an. Muslims send blessings not upon the holy Prophet alone but also his holy progeny in their namaz/salat. The holy Prophet left behind him the Book of Allah, the holy Qur'an and his holy progeny. They are the inheritors of the holy Prophet's knowledge, wisdom and characteristics. They are the best examples and role models after the holy Prophet. The holy Prophet loved them the most and they loved him the most. Who can understand Islam, Qur'an, Shari'ah, the sunnah of the holy Prophet and so on better than the people of the house? This is why the Shi'as follow the holy ahlulbayt after the holy Prophet and none else. As regards to the others, we are not sure of the state of their iman, source of knowledge, information, understanding and guidance about Islam. Muslims need to carry out their own independent, academic and unbiased research on the following events:- Da'wat-e-Zul ashira Mubahila The event of Ghadeer-e-khum The battle of Jamal The battle of Siffeen Saqifa Fadak The death of Abu Zarr Ghaffari The death of Muhammad bin Abi Bakr The death of Malik bin Nuweira The death of the mother of the believers, Ayesha. Ashura No one is asking you to become a Shi'a. If you carry out your own independent, academic and unbiased research on the school of the ahlulbayt, if nothing else you will discover to what extent you have been a victim of brainwashing, ignorance and misconceptions. I can relate so much to this Sister. I am a german convert and after 13 years I still dont feel part of this (iraqi) community and I even speak their language as my husband is Iraqi. Its exactly as the Sister described, we greet each other and then they would be chatting along the iraqi/arabic sisters, nobody caring about me. I got tired of putting myself out to them, it made no difference. I came home and cried so often. I ended up not attending Hussainiye anymore. Which makes me feel bad in relation to Allah and Imam Hussain as. I know of so many converts feeling the same way about this.

Dear sister, I was so unhappy and shamed about what I just heard from you and from the sister in the video. I am speachless with this carelessless in our community toward the newly converted people to our beloved shi'ism.. I have nothing but a reminder from Coran and Imam Saddiq, to myself and to you.. Allah said: O you who have believed, upon you is [responsibility for] yourselves. Those who have gone astray will not harm you when you have been guided. To Allah you return all together; then He will inform you of what you used to do (Al-Maida, 105). Imam Sadiq said: Whenever one of you wishes to gain whatever he wants from Allah, he should be hopeless of all people and just be hopeful of the Almighty. When Allah sees such reliance to Him in his servant’s heart, He will grant whatever the servant wants from Him. Sometimes, Allah put you in situations making you loose all hope on people surrounding you, and this in order to guide you to Him, and only Him.. Allah for Whom you left everything, He has already responded to you by taking your hand. Keep strongly his hand, and don't be sad about the careless people. I should neverthless add here that the hearts of many brothers and sisters are with you.. but they may be unaware of the size of your suffering and the difficulty of your situation, because they are not to used to know converted people. So we need people who learn others about the suffering and challenges that our dear converted brothers and sisters face after their conversion. This kind of emissions such as "Reborn" are made to awake us about your suffering, and how to embrace our dear converted brothers and sister within our community . Inshallah Allah helps us all, and makes from us a more solidary and consolidated community.

Sister you made me want to cry in my office and i believe i can understand how you feel, there is a weight on you that has been there since childhood so far and that is unbearable to have to carry it alone. I have to tell you a few things that might help you understand reasons for some of your questions. We as the Shia have been under heavy trials and tests since the Prophet (saww) was martyred and it is still going on because we have been chosen to carry the thaqalein and be harmed and attacked at the same time and this is what all prophets went through. And this is the end times so it gets more and more difficult. I have a collection of Hadith from the Prophet and Imam Ali ( AS) in one part of which is said, that in the end times because of the heavy trials and diffucties for the muslims and all the misleading and double standards and everything Allah will make not marrying Halal, one of the reasons of why communities are not as tight as they should be . Suffering in the heart and crying in your prayers may be quickest way to gain Allah's attention and help.amd with that heart of yours you can develope this sweet an powerful relationship with Allah. so Islam is not All about marriage although it is something everyone wants on their lives. But you gotta know many things which you feel bad about might be good for you. Today the money that comes into families are not always clean,the children are exposed to very bad material. I am an Iranian married man and i still do not have sny children and that may be the reason while we are both healthy. And know that feeling inferior because what you lack in life and waiting for Allah's help and not hating others for them, and being patient the way you are it softens your heart and closer to Allah. So you have gifts which many people don't. Having pains is being close to the ahlulbayt. Not having pain is not being able to cry and this is a very bad thing. And why don't YOU invite them over? Try that, teach them a lesson. You can do it. You have made the difficult part and accepted the right path in Islam. So be proud and know that you are special to Allah.

I have a very similar situation to yours. Although I am Christian I have learned of Islam. I also studied other denominations of christianity. In my community I am an outsider. My family and I relocated and things didn't work out in my relationship. My children and I stayed together. They have since left home and have their own lives. But I have tried many times to be friendly and fit in. It hasn't worked . So I just continue to work. I study and pray at home. I know that in time I will know what my next step in life will be. I hope you will find what you're seeking. I hope God blesses you with true friends that will help you in times of need.

Susan Goldman: I am sorry to hear that your children have left you to live separate and that the Christian community has cold shouldered you. But don't indulge in self pity which can have adverse effect on your health and well being. There are hundreds of lonely widowers and widows in my parish whose children are working or studying abroad. To beat loneliness they take voluntary work in parish activities. Perhaps you too can ponder on that. Then there are social media like this KZbin site where you can post comments . You can also cultivate new hobbies like learning to play musical instruments. But when you have your faith with you, Jesus is also with you and that should be your strength.

@Yusuf Ahmed Allah SWT command is to obey Allah SWT and prophet Muhammad SAW And the event of Ghadir khumm which prophet Muhammad SAW appointed a successor with Allah's SWT permission and in Qur'an Musa As when he left for 40 nights Allah SWT left Haroon As in charge and ALLAH SWT did the same here and also us Muslims believe that Imam Al Mahdi Ajtf is appointed by Allah SWT so how can't be the other twelve?? And have you read the Hadiths of imams are there anything wrong with it?? Of course no us Shias follow Qur'an and Hadiths and teachings of prophet Muhammad SAW and the teachings of 12 infallible imams As May ALLAH SWT guide us all

I as a person who was born in a muslim family may easily convert to other realigion cause I am a muslim who have nevered researched abouty religion. Do not feel alone or sorry for your self one of the wise man said if you feel alone do not feel that you are alone or no one is with you. Allah says when you are alone do not feel you are alone because on that time I am with you. So just Believe in Allah, Rasool SAWW and Ahlulbayt A.S that give you peace in your heart. I can not say that I understand what you are going through, but I would say try to make relationships with people you care about or people who care about you. For me what my believe is a loner is more religious than a person with having people in his/her surrounding. Do not question Allah just say Shukar Alhamdulillah and pray more. Because when Allah loves someone he take everything from that person and put them on trail to see after all these how much they love me and they want me. And if you success on Allah's trail then you are the richest person on earth. Salam aleikom, Why are you brother talking such dividing speeches. Love for imam hussain peace be upon him can't be restricted to your view of what is love and abnegation. Everyone in the Shia communities follow his , her Marji and we all respect each other without such demonizing words. I do Tatbir and my non-shia Christian, Jewish friends just respect my interaction with the Ashura day. Some people cry, some do blood donations, some walk, some beat chests , some do Tatbir , some do all of this. It's just love! Salaam France
