I've got all the stuff coming in the mail plus already have everything else and a nuwave oven because I'm using heat set so if you mess up you can wipe it off. I Just need to order a corner desk, hair rooting needles and some mohair I'm going for it looks like a lot of fun.

I was impressed at how well she looked for just one layer of skin tone. It takes me tons to get that realistic look 3-6 for caucasian and like 5-15 for dark ethnic babies. Great job!

This is amazing!! Any suggestions you may have for me is greatly appreciated. For years I've had tempting thoughts to purchase a reborn kit. To give it a try. Although I'm very crafty and enjoy tedious work. Reborn kits are expensive. Do kits include instructions on where to paint your colors? If a mistake is made using the paints can you remove and redo? These are heat set but my course includes air dry and the same equivalent paint colours and application techniques 💗 and there are three warming layers 😂

Baby Doll Elf .. i know haha what the heck thumbs downing her awesme work. I was glad when i saw a summary of reborning to watch in 3 minutes. Ans she does beautifulllllll work. And i love her enthusiasm about these dolls, she seems to really enjoy breathing life into these realistic babies. And shes also excited to see other master reborn artists work. Shes humble too not arogant or overpouring with pride like some are. And the more i watch her videos on her chanel i see that she truley seems to appreciate other reborn artists. Hi, sorry i'm late but if you don't mind me asking, at one point in the video you got out an X Acto knife and started poking her nose and other areas with it, but what does that do to the doll? P.S you are an amazing artist and the finished reborn looked amazing x

Bahah! It's for milia. It has the finest dot! I also use an awl depending on the size I want. I am not really poking but lightly touching the tip to the dewy medium. Gotta be really really careful since you do not want to hit/touch the vinyl

I use a mix of genesis heat set and Authentic Reborn heat set paints. I also use air dry mediums in the process too (and am currently transitioning to air dry paints entirely :) )

is there a way to paint a reborn without an oven? would the results still come out just as well? I would reborn babies if I didn't have to use an oven because it releases chemicals in your house and my mom doesn't want that.

Samantha is weird you can use reborning air dry paints. You just set them out to dry between each layer. It's what I use to use and it worked great.

I agree! I use a convection oven outside or in a room next to a window that my family isn't in. But air dry work just as well. Safety first.
