Marv Albert was the announcer and when Jordan did his thing, all Albert could say, "Oh what a move by Jordan!" Years later I recall Albert saying that was perhaps the single best move he'd ever seen by any player.

You know what's funny, I was telling a friend of mine the first time I saw Jordan play on tv was a game against the Celtics. And on this particular play, Jordan went up with two hands and literally put the opponents hand in the rim with the ball. I believe it was Reggie Lewis. And he had his hands on the ball as if he was blocking it. But MJ overpowered him at the rim. I was like, "Yo, what the heck!" But I have an even better story. About 20+ years ago I was at my cousin's wedding and the R&B singer Brian McKnight sung at his wedding. I was talking to Brian at the reception and he told me that he played at few days ago with MJ. And I was a huge fan back of MJ back then. He said the one thing that surprised him was how strong MJ was. He was like, "Yo, he is mad strong." That was around 1994-1995.

Part of what made the old NBA so great was watching a team get beat in the playoffs year after year by their arch-rival until they finally get tough enough to break through, especially in the East. You have to give it to Jordan, because his level of mentality and athleticism for the game is what made him a stone cold killer on the court. Sure he struggled early on, but when he was pushed, he pushed back harder. But when you show respect in the face of those who don't show it back, then Isiah had it coming and deserved what he got for being disrespectful towards the sport of basketball. The passing of the torch to Kobe goes to show, Jordan knew he would be the next one to carry on the same values, as Jordan himself. Kobe may not be the next M.J., since there can only be one. But he was the closest thing to M.J. there ever was. {R.I.P to Kobe}.

Kobe didn't score 55 on Jordan... he scored 55 on the Wizards. Also, Kobe did to Jordan the same thing Jordan did to the Celtics and the Pistons. Kobe beat a 40 year old Jordan.
