Many people know that Jordan was extremely competitive but what was quietly something that people didn't know was that his competitiveness inspired sometimes good natured trash talking and sometimes the trash talking was just out of bounds and vicious. He wanted to win and if he thought you as a team mate was helping him or not contributing enough he will blow fire on you if you were an opponent who was challenging him performance wise he would say very vicious and hurtful things to get in your head.

Steve Kerr was always a nice gentleman. As a Spurs fan, I was happy when I saw him traded to San Antonio. He loved the city.and playing here for the Spurs. He still have good relationship with Spurs team,players he played with, and coach Popovic. Steve won 2 Championships with Spurs as a player. 1999, 2003 He got before that 3 championships with Chicago Bulls, then he got 3 championships as a head coach of the G. State Warriors. So he has a total of 8 rings all together.

Kerr is such a class act. He is appreciated by all. Got a bad rap for the Shaq trade as GM in PHX (most would have done the same). So happy he is thriving in SF. 2 way, 3 city champion!!! Exactly, he was just saying how it is. Though another way to word it, he could of said he believed that even though Jordan was doing a horrible job that he is capable of doing better than that. Cant believe I'm taking Barkley's side here, but he was right. Friends are supposed to be honest with each other. He didnt try to dish or trash Michael, he just honestly stated that Jordan wasnt doing a good job, and he had facts to back that up. Disrespectful would be if Barkley fakely talked about how great Jordan was handling the team just so that Jordan wouldn't get mad at him.
@falconunlimited45052 жыл бұрын
Yeah but how was he not doing a good job? What could the improvement have been. Jordan was the biggest celebrity in the United States for many years. He was always dealing with people who would talk about him for the sake of it because it would get the attention. A good friend would have spoken about it off camera before the interview, or if not would have gone into detail about their feelings on how they could improve. If my friend had some thoughts about me they wanted to air, but never said it to me and only said it to strangers when there was a camera involved, I would have been very upset myself. I’m not saying Jordan didn’t overreact and he should’ve let cooler heads prevail in the end. But I believe Barkley stepped over a boundary.
@Anderser032 жыл бұрын
Amongst friends you can say that. But Barkley said it on a huge platform stating that Michael did not perform well. Just support your friend, stating you still believe in his ability to do well. Criticize without camera's and press just face to face. I understand Michael...

I think the Hornets made the right move on Kemba, traded for Terry and got a player who has produced at a similar level while being able to embrace a rebuild with young studs in Ball, Brides, and Washington. Kemba has a shot with an actual contender, the opinion of Kemba not getting paid what he was worth is basically killed by the fact that Kemba's time in Boston has been so up and down. He hasn't really grown past what he was in Charlotte even in a completely different environment, I'd even argue he's taken a step back since he isnt the 1st option on offense anymore.
