REBUILD POWER WINDOW REGULATOR HONDA CIVIC OR ANY CAR

So this video will show you the basic step in order to fix your own power window regulator of your car. The demonstrate power windows is for Honda Civic 96-00 model. This step also will give you an idea on how to rebuild your own power window on your own car.

Hi! thanks in advance for this great post. I had already the same issue with my power window and this help me to find the right way to solution. I figured out another trick, if you pull out the another one conector, you may slide out brushes support plate and it's much more easy to reassembly rotor with brushes already mounted on it.

Hi sir..I have done with my power window motor Honda civic so4/1996 model..it's okay after service, but I know that the carbon brush worn out and make it not good enough..does it can be replaced? tq😊

Bro, is this for 2, 3, 4 door 96-00 honda civic and which country, left or right hand drive? Would a genuine Honda motor fit a Dorman bare regulator bro?

Brother I need your advice and brilliant ideas PLEASE my bro. I'm Michael in England by the way brother and own a 2000 Honda Civic EJ9 Hatchback but right hand drive for the Japanese Market. So unknowingly I've only gone and ordered a Dorman 741-736 window regulator which is for a USDM Honda Civic's (Passenger side) so have just discovered that the regulators motor electrical plug is a 2 pin whereas on my UKDM Civic (Driver side) it's a 4 pin plug. So basically regulator and motor would fit as it's for the right side door, just theres 2 wires and a 2 pin plug instead of 4 wires and a 4 pin plug to connect to my UKDM wiring as my civic is right hand drive and regulators are reversal compared to left hand drives. Any ideas to work round this bro? Damn totally my fault I should've known plugs would be different being that RHD - UKDM and LHD- USDM, Totally my fault 🤦🏼🤣 Your advice and ideas would be greatly appreciated please brother, Kind regards Michael in England

Try swapping the motors.
