I had a middle of the road team that had some strengths and a bunch of weaknesses and I completely rebuilt this year. I traded some younger guys to get some other injured younger guys and draft. So I used some of my assets to buy guys injured Godwin, Collins, Aiyuk, Olave, Rashee Rice having no draft to the most draft capital in the league, including 1.01 next year, 1.03, 1.08 as well.

2nd and 3rd round picks are only valuable in the sense that you trade them away at the draft for useable assets. Go back and look at rookie drafts from 2021-2023. There's less than 10 usable players after pick 2.03 over those 3 years. Buy up all the 2nds you can during the season and trade them all away at the NFL draft or your leagues rookie draft.

Took over an orphan dynasty team last year. Ended up with the 1.02 and took MHJ to pair with Kyler despite my best efforts to try and trade back. Just sold MHJ, 2 4ths, and $70 FAAB for Odunze and 2 1sts this week. Then sold Kyler for Brissett, 2 1sts, and a 2nd as well as Mason for a 26 2nd. I now own 17 picks in the next 2 drafts to include 7 1sts that I project based on rosters currently to be early-mid. I am in a hard rebuild and think I should be able to overhaul my entire roster in 2 years which sucks but I’ll take the value where I can get it. EDIT: This team was so bad that the only player of significant value I had when I took over was Kyler coming off injury. I managed to trade Hollywood Brown very early last season for Dell and Njoku.

Well, this confirms 2 of my rebuilds are in good shape and I feel like I got my confirmation to be patient tearing down my pretender team that started 0-8 (league median). Thanks! So my 2 SF rebuilds, one has Rodgers, the other has Darnold ( got for Dobbins/A. Jones, some picks were exchanged) and I have JJ in that 2nd. Patience moving them is the right call? Both are trending towards productive struggle at this point.

Hold for now. Wilson has a juicy back half schedule and is still really young. Worthy will have his pop off weeks, but is not a #1 in KC. Don’t make a short term decision that haunts you in the long term

Traded Dalton and Mattison for Carr and a 3rd. Murray, Carr, Nix, KW9, BRob, Pollard, Hubbard, Rice, Kupp, Marv, BTJr, Dell, Ridley, Sutton, Kincaid are my core. Have 2 25 1sts on top. Currently 3rd in standings while #3 in PF and Max PF. I feel i nailed my overhual. Still plan to trade at least 1 of my 25 1sts for a WR close to deadline

I did a hybrid of this last season . Unfortunately. I am still in rebuild mode. I should be able to turn things around next year. I got off of Lamar, Kupp, Mixon, Kamara, Hockenson, and Cooper. They became Jayden, Chase Brown, Diante Johnson, Malik Nabers, Zay Flowers, Rashee Rice and 5 first rd picks in 2025. This is a 1 qb, tep, 12 tm ppr format. 3 picks will be early. And 2 will be later. My league has a 44% hit rate on these 1st rd picks. I am at 50% myself. I will be looking to move some of these picks for proven assets or 2026 first rounders. I try to take advantage of everyone having rookie pick fever.

I’m in a situation for my main dynasty league. I had a manager send me ceedee for Bijan 12 days ago and I never accepted or declined. Yesterday I accepted the trade, but the manager lost it and said I cheated and that the trade wasn’t in his trade centre(even tho I think he’s just saying that) and he’s threatening to drop all his players if the trade goes thru. All of the other managers agreed it should’ve been processed but the one manager is threatening to drop all his players and leave. What should I do?

I mean worst case scenario if you’re holding a contending piece who unfortunately tears an acl or blows an Achilles who won’t help you next year and value goes from a 2nd/borderline 1st to 0 pretty much as he’s not going to produce this year, he’s already old and acl recovery at that age is a lot let of a given (see Nick chubb last year, couldve gotten a few 2nds, maybe a 1st before the injury and becomes worth maybe a 3rd with no guarantee of production in the future)

My team is total dogwater on paper. Herbert, Darnold, Maye/Brissett, JT, KW3, Rachaad White, Jones, Diggs, Diontae, Shakir, Shaheed, Sutton, Wicks, Goedert, Sutton (start 11). Yet I'm 6-2, top scored the last 2 weeks, currently ranked 1st, and have the second highest PF/max pf, but also the lowest PA. Not really sure what to do at this point. Hold all my picks so I'm not forced to compete, but it also doesn't really look like Ill be able to tank to the lowest max pf without selling my entire team.

I love your guys vids and i get your argument about tanking but if you have league mates tanking you aren't going to get a top 3 pick. You're going to likely end up with 6-12. If you wanted a WR you could have still got Worthy or Thomas in the first 9 picks but for QB your stuck with JJ or Drake Maye vs the people that tanked who got Nabers, Marvin, Daniels, Bowers, etc

I mean that's assuming 6 other leaguemates are tanking. Generally not the case, there's fringe teams that make and miss the playoffs all the time. That leaves really 3-4 true rebuilders who start actively rebuilding well before the trade deadline.

In my main dynasty league, we made a rule change that I really like. We want teams to be competitive. So we reward winning. So the last week of the season, that is what determines draft order. Whoever wins that matchup gets the better pick available. So the 13/14 matchup, whoever wins and finishes 13th gets the better pick. So you can’t lose your way to the top. Also the #1 pick has to be WON. Whoever wins the consolation bracket WINS the #1 pick. Then whoever finished 13th gets 2 14th gets 3 and so on. So there is a team that’s really bad, but he is trying to remain relatively competitive so he doesn’t want to trade away Devante adams for cheap. It’s a good way to keep the league fairly balanced
