This tool from the author of Clrmamepro is geared to do one thing - rebuild!
Its a new, very fast, tool that comes in both a command line and UI version to rebuild your MAME romsets.

Bear in mind that any MAME xml files for versions before 0.162 will need amending to replace "game" with "machine".
