When you are talking about that cigarette lighter it actually is they use it for a USB charger I seen a guy hook one up before so you can charge a cell phone or whatever else.

nah you could build a steel triangle frame from the ground bolt it to the ground you make two of these with a beem on top of them and you could hang a bike up mate even build in a electric lift system

Hey man, amazing series. This is the bike that I've been looking for. Cause the 07-08 R1 models are like the only ones that has 4 valves per cyl with flatplane crank right? Like they're the only models with same configuration as the other Japanese bikes. Unlike the 06 and older that has 5 valves/cyl while the 09 and new ones has a crossplane crank. Could you give me more details on where I could possibly spot an 07-08 R1. Thanks man.

You really need to put that steering stabilizer back on. You were pointing at the tank bolt, but you mentioned the stabilizer... if you do not put a stabilizer back on there, it will kill someone. That bike needs it.

I’ll definitely put it back on, the bike comes with a steering stabilizer stock but it does not do much

Built From The Bottom it should be adjustable. Usually they have an adjuster on the side of the stabilizer to turn the damper up or down. Not sure what kind of stabilizer you have.

My friend, i have a 2008 yamaha yzf r6. I want to buy salvage newest year model (2018-2018) from copart and use it as parts to rebuild my bike. (bike is bad condition mechanically and new parts in our country is expencive). Also i could change 2008's R6 design to 2017. Any advice for that? I live far away from USA and don't know about pricing or progress on cases like this. Thanks for great content, good luck

@@MADLITS1K In our country taxes for imported vehicles is very hight (if vehicle is 10000 usd you must pay 6000-7000 taxes for that) So i think importing salvage new year bike as parts without taxes, rebuild 08's R6 and you will get new and fresh rebuilded bike.

who ever owned this bike before mighta been a bit of an idiot unless im the idiot but he had a steering damper on the top triple tree but its an R1 it has a OEM damper on the lower triple tree so he had two steering dampers
