Impressive work Ivan! You not only knock it out, you have the vision it takes to look at a piece of forgotten boneyard scrap and know you can restore it to near spec and perfection. Again, I'm impressed!

Great video, Didn't see much frame pulling at all, seems it was outside damage. it looked like the side was really pushed in, but I guess the quarter took all the damage. Really made this look easy.

I noticed you struggling on drilling Out the new 1/4 panel, I’d suggest getting a drill doctor and touching up the bits every time you use it. Or bulk buy bits. I’ve learned the hard way that a sharp, correctly sharpened bit makes your job so much easier. You guys are good at what you do. 👍🏼

One day you guys will learn and buy a good spot weld cutter... takes half the time and leaves a perfect hole for plug welding. If you center them right, they pop apart with no chisel.

You make it look so easy but I know different. I wish you would tell use the price of a new body parts compared to the junkyard part. Watching so many videos of cars being rebuilt has given me the confidence to try one myself. More info on these build's would definitely be useful. And thank you for the video that you do.

Atta boy Ivan great job 👍.yea the way they glue things now is tough not to cause a little damage.but all you can do is to keep it at a minimum.that foam is planned obsolescence as far as I am concerned.it holds and traps moisture in between panels and causes rust and rot.cant sell cars and or parts if they last forever...we live in a throw away society....just buy a new one they say.kep up the great work and putting Jack the hack in check.. 😂..lol 👌👍✌️🇺🇲🇺🇸

I am a retired adjuster & if I am correct the entire uniside & inner structure is boron hardened steel & I don’t think there are any sectioning process recommended by GM, so even though it my look right when completed it may not be structural proper. My want to check to see if there are sectioning procedures that are now available. I have been out of the industry for 11 yrs, good luck.

I love watching you guys. Keeps me motivated! (The harder I work, the luckier I get 😉) I wondered why you used the square foam hand sanding block to sand the ding repairs on the door instead of the orbital? I know you have the skills and finesse to obviously use one. Did you run out of the correct size grit orbital disc papers perhaps? Great work guys as always. All the very best! Cheers 🍻
@NikoBrothers2 жыл бұрын
Some times it's easier that way lol thanks for the support
@nigelw5982 жыл бұрын
@@NikoBrothers I understand. Sometimes if we rush a little with the orbital we can easily end up a little “under” and have to fill again. Once again, love your work. Thanks for taking the time to make and post your great vids. I really get a lot out of them. I buy, restore, sell earth moving equipement. “You make your money when you buy it, not when you sell”. The inner 'B' pillar may be made of Boreon ( not sure of spelling), that is very tough for obvious reasons. It doesn't usually deform but nothing is impossible. Ivan, why not invest in a spot welder? I know you can't use it on all areas but it's a concentrated weld with no splatter. Looking good so far though. 👌 Thanks Brothers. 👍

Spot weld drills only take out the top skin and leave the second skin intact.....more expensive I suppose, but self centering so less deformation. Just wondered why you don't use them?.
