Hi Nathan. Great content as usual. No wonder the Insurance wrote it off... Cost of parts.. Then Labour and to add Insult to Injury... VAT on top of that. The same is true of every other make really that is classed as (uneconomical to repair). Cheers 👍👍

Great Video as always Nathan. Just an FYI you can unbolt the top section of the front panel saves emptying the aircon

Well Nathan these cars are expensive to repair, there is a fibre optic goes across the front that pops up the bonnet hinges, that will be smashed on your car I had to pay 700 sovs s/h for one dealer price new was 1500 sovs

Hi Brian and they sure are . And the fibre optic on the front is the sensor I changed that bolts to the front crash bar not cheap at all . Hyundai did say they use to be double the price but they have dropped the price file recently luckily

Look for one without front damage 😂 and if no airbags have gone off but has front damage , one way to see if the active hood system has gone off it will show 20mph speed logo in middle left corner of speedo . Also Kia sportage of same era has the same regards Nathan

Great video - especially as it highlights the extortionate prices for Hyundai parts - consequently I’d never buy one!

Great video Nathan, have you managed to fit the bonnet hinges & actuators yet. Is the pedestrian impact sensor all ok after fitting as I have one to do on a 19 plate cat N.

Hello Nathan, Thank you for making these videos; they are incredibly helpful. I am in a similar situation and have a few questions. Did you have to replace the bonnet hinges along with the pyrotechnic actuators? If not, how did you set the hinges back into place? Additionally, did you buy a new bonnet and have it painted, or did you get the existing one fixed? Which option would you recommend? Thank you!

Hi David I had to replace the the both bonnet hinges as they was bent from the accident. I also had to replace the bonnet actuators and a new bonnet as there was damage to the under structure . It’s hard to give you my opinion as not seeing your car
