Rebuilding a Land Rover defender 200tdi - rolling chassis

Part 2 of rebuilding a defender 200tdi with a galvanised chassis and bulkhead.
Part 1 - stripping down the defender 200tdi after being parked off the road for 10 years in grass and wet conditions prior to restoration rebuild.

about to embark on this myself with new bulkhead and chassis and upgrading parts as i build it up. going to be one hell of a project in my cold little barn, really enjoeyd the video unsure if you made anyother videos of the rebuild but i enjoyed the watch

Hi mate did this come with any numbers in white chalk on crossmember or any tags on ? I’m buying a second hand one that’s never been fitted but it has some numbers on and a key ring on front but no brand name.

Look at the chassis number as that might give you an idea where it’s from or if it’s an old chassis that’s been galvanised. Mines got RC laser cut in underneath just before the rear crossmember as it’s from Richard’s chassis which I’d recommend getting one from there depending on price between them.
