Rebuilding A VW Bug Pedal Assembly with an Upgrade.

I've seen it far too often. A bug has a mechanical restoration and the pedals were overlooked. Even if just for the aesthetics , but more for the mechanical benefit , your pedals deserve a re-vamp. This is a budget minded video. We try to take a crusty mess and make it a shining jewel, without buying any parts. Speaking of parts...we add a EMPI throttle pedal roller upgrade. This part was supplied by Nevada Off-Road Buggy. The owner of NORB , Maree Duncan, wanted to know if it was a worthwhile upgrade for her customers.

Cracking video again excellent work. A drill bit added with kit would be helpful to the buyer? Idea for video, Maybe an engine rebuild from start using average parts . Not expensive but to build a solid strong engine . Example best heads,what is best Cc etc . It's a minefield out there , camshaft, crankcase.

Nothing better than rebuilt pedals. I use Ron's kits from Classic Bug Parts much better quality and made in the USA

I don’t think it will work on RHD. I’ve rebuilt a RHD pedal assembly. It has rods and levers that are a completely different design. G’Day 👊🏽👍🏽
