I’ve had those frames sitting around for a few years, was never sure what I’d do with them. Thanks for watching

Man. You did a great job. I was looking at your videos and photos of my M38 to see how it would compare. Slightly diffferent but your frame is marvelous. The precut vinyl WILLYS or stencil will look sharp on there. Don’t know the color of your Jeep will be but body color or dark gloss gray would be neat. Thanks from the fun. 🤠

Thanks for watching! I actually have been thinking of a dark gray.

The drink looks tasty! Nice way to make a good frame from two bad frames. Sorry it cracked 😞

Darn glass. The cheap comes out expensive. Love the sholder bolt idea. Hate that you sold the land rover. Tell me was it somewhat dependable? British engineering is some of the worst but the LR looks so iconic.

The LR ran really well, once the bugs were worked out it never let me down. I really loved the way it looked. Wish I had the top off for a summer, maybe i would still have it.😀

@@fastdadgarage-northsouthch4418 man, there's a farmer down the road who has 1 sitting by his barn. Hasn't moved in years. Looks like a series 2. My wife got me into old VW's. We've got 3 bugs 63,72,74. & a Thing I just restored. I always collected Willys jeeps. I've got 2 high hoods & a 44'GPW. but none of them run! I just got a 50' Willys Wagon 4x4 with a SBC & a gear vendors OD. & my wife just let me get my dream truck. A 79' Mercedes Unimog. My wifes family's from all over Michigan and half our neighborhood is from there. Best neighbors one could have. Love your practical way around things you do to make it yourself. I've watched your stuff for a very long time. Thank you for publishing all you do.

@@fastdadgarage-northsouthch4418 truthfully, I'm nervious about it. Its a model 406. They were imported then as a Case MB-4. As Mercedes owned Case IH. This 1 has the "cascade" transmission. 20spd. It has the 6cyl non turbo diesel engine. It's very reminiscent of a tractor. Its German engineering so it's overcomplicated. Even for a tractor. Torque tubes for the driveshafts. The aftermarket for them is VERY limited to 2 or 3 ppl here in the states. Overseas parts are more prevalent but shipping fees! Prices are crazy for parts. Almost everything is rebuildable/serviceable. Tires are ex military or through a company called Mitas out of the Czech Republic. Their very specific so there's a lot to learn. There's nothing like it, it puts everything I've ever been around to shame. Portal boxes, front & rear PTO's, front & rear hydro hook ups. Everything about it is overbuilt in a great way. It'll be with me till I'm gone.
