Hey Alex! So for future reference, when you need power to open things on a car, check for engine bay hook ups for jump starting, this will also supply power for door and hatch releases. If those can't be accessed, there may be power connections in the passenger area you can hook jumpers to to "back feed" power to systems for hatch and panel releases. Looks like an expensive build. @@michaelmunch8682 I just checked. Ceramic Brembo brake rotors are about 1200 a piece. A rear brake rebuild kit is 5 grand. Hopefully he will get wholesale pricing on his parts.

You can use the physical key to open the frunk. There is a keyhole for that on the top side of the intake below the driver side headlight. Just pop the cover off the key fob to find the physical key. Good luck with the rebuild!

There is a mechanical key lock in the front drivers side air duct in the front bumper for the trunk. The key is inside the fob and you just turn the lock while pressing on the trunk and it will open. The procedure is on page 6.27 of your owner’s manual.

Maybe the trims are off because it used to have radar. That fuse box trims was off. The previous owner took the radar off before insurance took the car away

Hey Alex, to open the front trunks on the 720s there a key hole in the driver side front air vent of the bumper. The key hole will be on the Top side and also the key will be hard to turn and you will have to use some pillars to turn the key. Kind of a pain to do but it’s different from the other models

To open the front luggage compartment you take out the physical key that is inside the fob. The key goes into a lock located in the left front air duct in the nose of the car. Turn the key, the lid should pop open.

You are brave to take this thing on, I have to be honest ....knowing what I know about Mclaren’s and their replacement parts cost I don’t see how this rebuild is worthwhile considering used 720S’s are available with clean titles for as little as $230k ish, so unless you bought this car for $50k ish or less I kind of think it should have just remained a part out

I know the story of this wrecked mclaren. The driver was driving fast a night on tiny road and fall off a lil cliff. The cars flupped to the rear and crashed at the rear. The driver had nothing, thx to the strong structure od McLaren
