New a guy, builder by trade, took an old Rolls with a dead engine bought for peanuts, cut the back off to make a flat bed pick up truck and grafted a Perkins four cylinder diesel tractor engine into it. It was quite clean generally complete with lady emblem and the earlier upright radiator grill etc. But boy did it ever make a noise and black smoke. He used it to haul his building materials from site to site. It eventually was replaced by a new modern common make truck. Rumour had it the local Rolls Royce dealer had been told to buy the thing off him, cheaper than a court case or something.

If you can get that turbo Miata cheap then you're on to a winner. Here in the UK you'd pay 2-3 times the cost of the car to turbo it properly, hell the ECU alone is £600. Easy to fix, parts are plentiful. Would be a good first project (which is why I got one lol)

1st gen, sure. But 67-69 Camaros are easily identifiable. 67 has vent windows, 68 doesn't, 69 has different body styling (look for rear fender lines). Some people like the clean look of the 67-68, others like the 69. I'd probably prefer the 67 or 69 before the 68.

So what do you do with salvage title Lambo Galardo? Even after investing in repair, it is still a salvage title. There may be a market for trackable Galardo, as racing project car. Or own daily driver. Can a salvage title exotic be rented? Can it even be insured? Just part it out. Drivetrain is worth 30-50K. Seats about 5K each. Maybe.

The support strut that runs from further back on the car to the front tire definitely needs some work. But to me looks like the caught the wheel on something or something hit the wheel. Being a framing carpenter is a good job, but they do not do commercial buildings the same way as residential. Commercial will have some wood, but most of it is steel beams, even for wall studs. There is also plenty of work in the electrical & plumbing industries.
