I worked at a chevy dealership for a while, a lot of times brand new cars get totaled because if its a new model, there are not parts to rebuild it. But now thats totaled, the next guy might not be getting totaled out cause now there are parts:)

It absolutely amazes me the quality of some of those vehicles (Lamborghini, Ferrari, Rolls Royce, Tesla, etc.) and the extent of the damage and yet how low mileage they are! It's like the owners just got the cars, and not knowing how to drive them, wrecked them to the extent that they are totalled by their insurance company!?! It's almost callous how some people with money are!

Plus, to add more value to these videos, I would like to hear your opinions on the value of these pre and post repair. New a guy, builder by trade, took an old Rolls with a dead engine bought for peanuts, cut the back off to make a flat bed pick up truck and grafted a Perkins four cylinder diesel tractor engine into it. It was quite clean generally complete with lady emblem and the earlier upright radiator grill etc. But boy did it ever make a noise and black smoke. He used it to haul his building materials from site to site. It eventually was replaced by a new modern common make truck. Rumour had it the local Rolls Royce dealer had been told to buy the thing off him, cheaper than a court case or something.

If you can get that turbo Miata cheap then you're on to a winner. Here in the UK you'd pay 2-3 times the cost of the car to turbo it properly, hell the ECU alone is £600. Easy to fix, parts are plentiful. Would be a good first project (which is why I got one lol)
