Rebuilding A Wrecked 2021 Ford Bronco Part 9!!!

Just a guess but I'm thinking the relay for your differential is probably a normally open circuit which disconnected should have it disengaged so maybe unplug it and see if it's still locked in if so it would have to be in the differential itself if not then it's electrical. Looking fantastic though, another great build for sure. UPDATE I actually found a ford service memo for this exact problem, it tells you to try driving in a straight line while slightly turning the wheel back and forth to help it disengaged. It gives examples on what makes them hang up and not want to disengage. Hope this helps!!!!

I know you have mentioned it before but you guys should buy your own paint booth and have its own entrance. When it’s not in use you can rent it out. Having a separate entrance means no one bothers you guys.

The Bronco should still be under warranty so, why not take it to the dealer and let them figure it out. The Goonies get it repaired without having to buy any parts or expend their labor. Looks like a clear win to me.🤟🏻

He makes mistakes just like everyone else. He actually did not lay down the base or clear good enough on the cab behind the doors because you could see where it was rough looking. Exactly why they kept sweeping past the area and around it in order to not show his mistake.

@Diamondback painting isn't very hard guy and they are not pros at painting. They still make many mistakes yet most of the time don't show the mistakes or if they do show them it is later on. If you would stop riding their nuts for 2 seconds you would know that. There have been many occasions where they have messed up paint jobs, even recently. They messed up on the Bronco, but youndidnt catch it. Luckily I did.

Check your wiring for the diff. Fords have up to 150 modules but since that was hit pretty hard you could just have a cut wire

I think the width on that tire setup is perfect. If you go wider, I wouldn't go very much wider and I don't think it even needs taller tires. You could probably just do some small spacers to push the wheel out just a tiny bit. Looks great to me.

That wrap is NOT cheap or "crap", it's some of the best stuff money can buy, but the color just wasn't right and that OEM paint is just really nice, nobody hated the wrap because it was "cheap".

Good job on getting the best PPE for painting. Nothing is more important than your health from the harmful chemicals. Sucks that it costs a whopping 3K though. I think a wider light weight wheel with the right offset would be better than adding spacers. When you slap on bigger 37's you might need to re-gear as I am sure they will be super heavy... then you'll want big brakes too.

Antimatter Blue is an amazing color, glad y'all went with the original color! Also, I would stay away from spacers, I suggest some 0 offset wheels, the wheels from factory are at +30 offset (I think) so going to 0 would bring out everything and give that look you're looking for. Another option which is more expensive is doing a long travel kit from like Baja Kits, their Bronco prerunner kit is +3 so that'll be 6" wider total which would complement those wide body fenders y'all got as well.

Nahh, if you paint alot they will clog up in just a couple weeks, especially if you paint alot of 2k direct gloss or high solid clears. I work as industrial painter, and at my previous job we changed them every week in high production.

Could be a vacuum leak too. Depending on how the system functions, vacuum pressure is used to disengage the locking mechanism. Worth looking into for an easy fix! As usual, keep up the great work and looking forward to the build getting finished up!

I used to have a 1986 Ford Bronco II that was 2 tone 'chocolate 'n caramel', 2.9 EFI, lockouts, 5 sp. manual, 6" lift, Warn front winch and beefy bumper, and HUGE 35" tires with those 'vintage' (hey...."I" must be 'vintage' too! 🤣) mag turbine deep wheels and matching rear spare and of course and sweet 10 meter (flexible to 11...and beyond meter!) radio and 102" stainless whip antenna! It was a BEAST! Definitely a predecessor to Your BEAST! Wish I still had it. Sold to pay off my college bills! Love your build and can't wait to see what more you put on'r!

Paint job came out amazing, that's my favorite FORD color "antimatter blue". I knew the name of it when you were trying to remember it in the last video. Also, check to see if there's any vacuum lines for the front locker, my truck uses vacuum lines to lock/unlock the front diff.

If you do have to rebuild the front differential you might as well regear both. Once you go bigger tires regearing will bring all the shift points and rpm back to oem. Awesome the fenders came with liners that says a lot about the fiberglass company. You can fix your driveline angles in the front with a differential drop spacer. I was getting a lot of cv joint wear for the same reason. Added a diff drop and all my angles are way better now. The rear trailing arms are longer and push the rear axel back after you lifted it. Great addition. Love the no bs hustle videos. You guys always deliver. 🤞🏽Porsche parts come in cause I can’t wait for more videos on that build. Best car you guys have minus the viper. You just can’t deny the viper is epic 🤙🏽🤙🏽

Maybe because I'm bias. I drove a '77 model Bronco when I was a teenager. I loved that thing! My brother went through two of the Bronco 2's. He flipped both of them and totaled them.
