The ticking noise you are hearing is normal it should go away once the car warms up I have it in my C43 as well and originally thought it was a HPFP but I asked on my MB group and they told me it was fine and nothing to worry about 😎 loving the videos btw 👌🏼

It’s top spec as you can see on those buttons at 7:18s which is very impressive and rare to find on normal mb’s never mind an mag model.. the original owner ticked every option so must have had some deep pockets!

Hey man! 2 things, that ticking is 100% normal it’s the purge valves working, I had panic attacks when hearing it on my car. The second thing is the front bumper gap between the hood and front bumper will always show the aluminum panel between it (I hate that gap). This thing is gonna be your new daily if you can afford the gas lol, excited to see you build it out!

The clicking noise is great to have it, this thing do it's job and it's sucking the vacuum from the reservoir, it will be more concerning if you don't have it. Great job and great video. I will be waiting or the next one!

The purge valves go bad all the time, replacing them only fixes it until they go bad again. Also you need to vacuum bleed both cooling circuits and run the bleed procedure for each pump or else you'll have overheating and/or issues with low coolant warnings.

The ticking noise at 15:30 is pretty normal in Mercedes engines, mine also has it. It's for preventing the gas tank from imploding
