I’m noticing your top cover gasket is better designed than ours over here in Australia. I have to put the gasket under the float as it has a cut out and is not open like yours. The other thing they have done, which is why I think I have a problem, is that there is a hole cut out about that alloy piston (the one you taped down) where as yours doesn’t have a hole so it’s held shut. I think we are some how supposed to juggle a gasket and somehow hold in place a rubber plug to fill that hole. I will go and check my original gasket as I never saw a plug when I took the top off. I’m thinking this is why my accelerator pump isn’t spraying.

Was wondering if there is a fix for a vacuum leak off the secondary shaft. (The one that gums up)

Your explaination of the powervalve might have cured my new flooding problem after i cleaned out an almost blocked primary venturi. The powervalve in the top air horn was seized down, i didnt even realised it moved! Im guessing its holding the valve open in the float bowl and causing the primary to flood.... ill find out tomorrow, its midnight now.

@3:20 that aluminum plunger my carburetor did not have it any where i can find it ? N does it need it?

i did the unthinkable i removed the nut on the secondary shaft that the vacuum arms attaches to open the butterfly and unwound the spring mechanism w/the little arm...any suggestion on how to put that back together with the carb on the truck?

are you certain about the 2 ball size locations?? On my rig, the smaller ball was on the outlet side.

just noticed you forgot the plunger return spring or you never showed you putting it in.
