The F80's more of a for me project. I know people don't relate. I guess what surprises me is that people have seen my style of built not bought. but still don't believe me when I tell them the F80 is a better car by far than what I could build for the money. @taylorraydrifts I think it's missing due to injectors - they're bigger for the turbo setup and the lower usage you ask of injectors the less precise they are - maybe a clean would help- love the e36 content already!

Hey taylor, if you want to idle leaner turn on "idle ignition control" and target like 10-12 DEGREES at idle and it should idle smooth with a leaner AFR

A buddy of mine learned about that tag situation just like you did. The cop told him, you are better off not having a tag at all, vs putting a tag registered to a different car on it. Glad ro hear you didn't get any trouble for it. All comes down to which cop pulls you over for it most the time.

Had a friend who ran out of gas on a test drive of his longtime project. He was pushing the car with some buddies and got arrested for the bad tag. Happened when I was 16, so I’ve always been aware of it. I don’t think most people in Florida are aware how serious it is.

I recently gave up my nice modern fwd car for an older bmw. It produces all kind of noises and smells and you have to ask it nicely to get to where you're going but at least you feel something driving it. it might sometimes be a weird vibration or a general fear for your safety, but it's something more than nothing. Call it an early midlife crisis if you must put a label on it but people enjoy different things not always being able to explain it.

I bought a 400 dollar truck to bring me back to my younger years. It was an adventure trying to drive it home! Worth every penny. Street driving a 'race, drag, drift' car is a good insight into the actual feel of the car. How the shifter feels, brakes, cooling system all the actual mechanical systems get put to the test.

E36 coupe windows bump up to lock in when the door is closed. And drop a bit when you open the door. Since you hotwired them with a cordless batt they went full up.

tip for welding up cracked wheels find the end of the of the crack and drill a hole there to reduce the chance of it cracking again.

Same with me. Cleetus straight up Garza'd that 350 into the wall within 30 seconds of getting behind the wheel. It was almost funny until you saw how hard it was to load that thing up on the trailer afterwards. I watched Taylor's next video of dealing with the damage, and haven't missed one since.

Should have drilled the tip of the crack to relieve the stress before welding. The crack can still spread after welding.

With cracks but especially aluminium cracks you need to drill a hole at the end of the crack to stop it spreading even if you weld over it will come back

A older friend once said to me "When your in your 30's you'll still be a dumb kid to me" hes in his 60's and loves to have fun more than I did when I was 20. It's a 2007 cobalt ss supercharged that the previous owner put a supercharger on it from a stage 2 car and when they did they left the gasket on the supercharger and the intake and put it together. Once I di ran so much better

Man I fix dents on cars, and aluminum is so difficult to work with. It dissipates energy so quickly. I could imagine aluminum would suck to weld cause it would be cold cold cold then all the sudden super hot. Then right back to cold quick
