This a great thing to see. It legitimizes the sport a little further every time a group does things like this. It could lead to better facilities and higher budgets in the future.

Soooo satisfying!!! I love this series! Make sure these episodes keep going until these trails are running better than they ever have! Loving all the jump build lapses and restoration going on theses days! As a trail builder myself, I’m always looking for ideas and techniques. Keep this going Tom!

Great work guys! Really pleased you're saving this place. Hopefully this video will drum up some extra help. Seems such a shame it's been left to get this bad but thanks to you it will be great once again!

Really like this and would definitely like more. It's great to see you and Kara giving back to the community and it is interesting to see how the jumps are built, and maintained, and the thought that goes into it.

That was great. I'd come and help if I lived there. One thing I love about helping with the local trails is how much you get to see which you don't notice while riding. If gives you a whole different perspective of the trails, i.e. different lines, etc.

Nice to see some digging 👍. My local park had some nice dirt jumps but it gets old being the only one working on them and then there are so many people that just don’t respect the work and just destroy them with motor bikes and running and jumping on them🤦♂️

Its great to see the maintenance of local spots by the biking community. I hope you are able to restore the rest of the run and generate some buzz for it once yourselves have completed it. I'd like to see you organize a jam session with the other riders like Sam pilgram and such to celebrate your success.

Looking forward to more videos of you both restoring those jumps. I did wonder if you've ever done a video like this before and I think you should do it more often as it's the other side of mountain biking which is just as important as the riding 🤟
@junka19752 жыл бұрын
Great to see you bringing life back to the track Tom. Best part is when it's fixed you can ride it and say "yep I helped fix this". Hopefully it gets to stay well maintained in future. Kara is right, it's not hard to put your rubbish in the bin or take it back with you and put it in your own bin.

It’s always sad to see a spot turn to zombie land. Good job Tom and Kara . I enjoy watching videos of you guys fixing trails. You should make your own trail one of these days . I bet that will do good views wise

Hey there Tom, You have a massive following, so why not organise a digging party ? I used to do a lot of carp fishing and twice a year we@d have a work party where the syndicate members would turn up, listen to music, have a beer and a BBQ and tidy the lake and paths around it. I'm sure a lot of your followers would get involved.

Love it. Not to reduce the credit you deserve, but looks inspired by Matt Jones' Playground to some extent (The time-lapse jump building/maintenance idea). His videos are great to watch and this was really enjoyable as well. Also great to see this area being brought back up to its potential. I bet there'd be at least a handful of locals that would show up to help out to some extent, that looks like a lot of work to get that place back in shape! Great content!

Tom, you should use your social media chops to organise a work party. Tell folks to bring shovels, hoes, buckets, strimmers - anything they can carry - and arrive at a specific time and place to blitz the place. Maybe lay on a few crates of beer. People like free beer.

It’s a shame that this stuff happens but we can’t stop the weather I might look into becoming a dig member
@computerbob062 жыл бұрын
Unless it's a pay to ride trail centre, everyone who rides trails/tracks should also dig them! If everyone who rode there gave up a day of their lives to digging, it would be sorted in no time and maintained! Digging is also a bit of a workout on all your muscle groups as well!
