I'm really digging the pink on the frame and bolts. My first bike shop sponsor for bmx racing in the 90s gave me a blue diamondback striker with a pink sticker kit, pink pedals and grips. Every bike I've had since then has had at least 1 pink part. Now that I'm oldschool the nostalgia of it makes every ride that much more fun.

Incredible! You should put all blue ti-bolts at the front end (top cap, rotor bolts, brake lever bolts) and it will match the top of the caps on the Fox forks, blue in the front, pink at the rear 👌🏼👌🏼

I know how you feel. My MTB is special to me. I’ve had it for 23 years and rode it for many of those years on patrol on a police mountain bike squad. It’s seen lots of action and I got to keep it when I retired. I will never get rid of it.

Don’t use an impact driver, you’ll screw (lol) the hubs sooner or later. Either strip the thread in in alloy or round off a bolt . Just use a drill (drill) with a clutch you can set the torque. In screw driver setting. I do it to a low setting then just finish 1/4 to 1/2 turn by hand.

instead of going through the stuggles of using hairspray and banging the grips on, use cable ties inside the grips and it just slides on easily then pull them out.
