Quick tip Since you have an air compressor now. But the blow gun attachment on and you can use it to blast air under the grip and they slide right on. You can use the same method to remove grips as well.

Hey Matt, Great Build on the New Bike !! Was gonna tell ya, in my shop i put down the interlocking rubber floor tiles, on the concrete, Dude, it is so nice now !! I think you would love them , ya ought to check into them , they don't cost very much per pack, well that's how mine came when i bought them , think it was like 10 per pk. ? i forget...lolol ...But, I know you will be spending a lot more time in there now that you have the new place so, just a nice idea i thought i'd throw atcha !! Have a Good one !!!

Marin has such beautiful bikes. I've got an oval chainring on my Marin hardtail, funny how the oval feels "rounder" than the round ring now. It just feels more natural almost.

You should keep the handlebar or steerer tube cut offs of an important bike and send it to a ring maker to make it an engagement ring. If you haven’t already gotten engaged.

Info for future weenie builds. Bmx race brand carbon pivotal posts. Saves a decent bit of weight. Also pre cut to 150mm long and comes in common mtb sizes for dj bikes.

Ive had tubeless blowouts that were scary. Two on the front wheel, one on the back. It really depends on your setup, super wide tubeless 2.4s, like booze lights will explide off yiur rim at 60 psi. Even with orange seal, stans, slime. All sealants really do at that point is lubricate the bead seat and help it blowoff like an HKS SSQV4😅

Wrap double sided tape round the handlebar ends, dip it in white spirit, slid the grips on, let it dry for 24 hours. You'll never get em off, guaranteed!

Don't think you cut the bar down enough. The 30mm marker means that if you cut that marker at each end, you have cut the total length of the bar by 30mm. You took 15mm off each end, so you have 770mm bars not 740mm :-)
