VERY NICE WORK! Looks awesome! That had to be a ton of work, but it's definitely a HUGE step forward on the project! Oh yeah...I'll be by to get that jig from ya 😂

It WAS a ton of work! I had a blast trying to finish it over the weekend and I’m very happy with it.

MIah is more talented than you know. He probably made all the music to go with the video in his spare time.

Thanks Rich. I actually produced that music after my violin lessons before I sleep my standard 45 min a night.

Wonder how better that would make the handling on the highway?? Love the idea!
@MiahsBug5 ай бұрын
Handling in straight lines will be better. The camber change helps in corners with body roll and contact patch. Lower tire pressure and contact patch conforms to the terrain. That’s how it works in my head anyway lol

My car is planned for higher speed desert stuff. I prefer the stability in rough straight lines.

Love you fixture and nice fabrication as always! I feel like + & - camber is a good thing to have on an off road vehicle?, no camber seems more like a drag racing set-up. Even a rear straight axle has + & - camber as is twists. I no expert on this by any means so I'll be curious when you get it finished how it handles, I'm sure you did your research, you're around a lot of baja builders out there that have a lot of experience.

Yeah, it’s a bit of a controversial subject depending who you talk to. I chose a path I thought was the best based on many different cars. It goes both ways all the way up to full class racing on what is best.
@hotroddevils50315 ай бұрын
@@MiahsBug I would have never believed theirs so much controversial ways/opinions on all aspects of building a baja until I started my own...trans, roll cages, suspension, steering racks, tire sizes, etc....enough to drive you a little crazy, but that's part of the fun I guess! I find it a little stressful myself😬
@MiahsBug5 ай бұрын
Yeah, there is a hundred ways to do it. Just because I chose a path doesn’t make all others wrong. It is a bit stressful sometimes.

What wall thickness tube did you use for the “torsion” tube?
@MiahsBugАй бұрын
It is 0.120” wall. That is sufficient if properly supported. If used in the stock configuration you would need around 0.250” wall thickness
