You can't adjust throwback players' ages, so he just used the 23yr old Kobe. The only way to adjust the age of a throwback is by creating the player yourself.

Oh yeah, forgot about that. I was going to bring up that Deron Williams was listed as 26 when he's actually 32, but I didn't see that you wrote throwback player. I did try to adjust Garnett and Pierce's ages (the Boston versions) when I was making a 2013-14 roster, but I couldn't. Might just be a thing with the throwbacks.
