looking good, glad to hear that the frame is strait that's a huge relief cause usually when a truck flips they get a twist in the frame that's nearly impossible to remove ,, i'm looking forward to seeing it with a new cab i've been working on a rebuild of my own too ,although mine is much older and more simple ,, I just freshened the engine in my 1965 GMC 6500 truck tractor ,,new rings and bearings ,and a valve job the engine had just over 200,000 miles on it the engine is the largest gasoline engine ever placed in a highway truck ,, a very rare GMC 702 twin six V12 gasoline engine 11.5 liters of awesomeness ,and one of the sweetest sounding engines i have ever seen ,,even better when it's ran with Quadruple exhausts like mine is ,,this is made possible by the fact that the twin six actually has 4 heads 1 for each 3 cylinders

Hey Rusty! It's great seeing her top less!! I hope you do find yourself a cab and soon.... I mean a cab is sorta important, better than a milk crate for a seat and a Coleman cot for a sleeper... lol ...😂!!! And those "scuffs," well they tell the story of your lady's life, the scars of a rough beginning for her, and you will carry a torch of sorts for the former driver and only a few of us know the painful beginning and those scuffs are also a different reminder too!! Reminding you and everyone of the love of labor you have poured into her, to bring back the glory and majesty of the heart of an 18 wheeler!! ...... ANYWAY, KEEP ON KEEPING ON BROTHER!! PEACE 🤘

@davebrittain92165 жыл бұрын
You were wondering if those U bolts were tight enough. Check the specs and torque them down to specs. Over tightening in some cases can be just as bad as too loose. At least with loose you can hear a tell tale sound but with over tight/stretched they just snap suddenly and you are in big trouble.
