I hope that every year after the hotel is rebuilt you have a massive festival on June 15th to celebrate Cerro Gordo and not just the history that was there but the history that there has yet to be made. "The New American Festival". I have a feeling it wont be a ghost town for long. This channel is reviving life in Cerro Gordo from goats, to cats, llamas, and soon more and more friends and families will want to visit and stay here. Keep up all that you are doing and you might have to change the name of this channel to just Living.

Thank you Bret for the inspiration you gave us since you started with you videos 15 months ago, we(my wife, younger son and I) started a project in the mountains of Baja California, The rebuilding of a ranch, the Coyote Blues Ranch, transformed and old bar and corral into a western type cantina, and old adobe shed into a work shop, a stone abandoned shack into a nice guest room, instaled a Windseeker and solar paneles, painted and laid concrete as needed, run water pipes and eléctrical wiring, clean and clean lots of wild brush.. we encountered heavy rains, snow, great, wind, wild fires and plácid nigths... Made over 100 trips from desert land to mountain levels and still going, much of your philosophy is taken as an input to keep going on our project as well... The pandemia was not as bad for as as for others, being away from crowds was a relief up in our place Muchas gracias for all amigo.

I have been watching you since the beginning, and I've been waiting for the cement to get delivered. I'm a grandmother and not sure why I got hooked on this. I'm sure your passion is part of the reason. I do have to say I have been concerned about all the projects you have told us about and how you were going to do all of them basically alone. I recently tuned into your channel and saw how much weight you have lost. I am so glad you are getting all this support. You have some valuable guys there. You deserve it. But just remember your health is number one and the American Hotel and the town of Cerro Gordo are number two.
