Khal check this out someone (power nation) built a srt ghoul challenger. They have the ghoul badges and everything. Basically your hellephant 300 is a ghoul and you really could legitimately put ghoul badges on your 300 and it would be a 1 of 1 Chrysler 300 srt ghoul. First in the world.

If the cam bearings are toast,the engine isn’t bad. You’ll have to pull the entire short block apart and send it to a shop that works with press machines. They can press new bearings into it. Now if it was a viper engine and the cam bearings were toast ,then the engine is bad bc an engine like that doesn’t have bearings. The block itself is the “ bearing “ . Hope this helps with some reassurance

Pull the cam. It will come out. The lifter is pulled up a bit. Even if it isn’t. Turn cam whike pulling it out. To avoid the lobes. Knock lifter down through afterwards

Lifter is out far enough to get cam out. Then push lifter out the bottom. You do not want to score lifter bore trying to pull it out. Do not weld on it. Those are MDS solenoids that you broke. Looks like it has MDS delete already and an aftermarket cam installed.

With a little bit of heat and pulling with a puller at the same time should work or use a pipe wrench to twist it you'll get better grip and some heat to avoid breaking it🤔 Or slightly turn the engine by hand and try jerking the lifter if it loosens up....

The zip tie on the dipstick can be a sign that it had headers at some point. The stock manifolds bolt that holds the dipstick gets replaced with a new one that isn't long enough for the part that holds the ds. And since the ds is only held in with an o ring, this keeps it from rattling around. Also the motor mount bolt issue. The alternator usually has a metal bracket that goes back and attached to the motor mount. If it's gone, they probably cut it off

I agree with others buy the tool to remove lifter. Amazon sells it if your local auto store don't. I would use some assembly oil to help prevent from damage to bore. Push rods aftermarket most likely cam is too. Would love to see a name brand cam and lifters package go back in it. Would make nice footage for videos...

Excellent disassembly video! It can be repaired IMHO, leave lifter in bore as it will clear the camshaft when you remove it. Thanks for great video content! I can now see how the coolant plumbing is hooked up for the engine oil cooler behind the oil filter, just get the lower hose for the 6.4 & it has the small hose on it. Thinking of putting severe duty radiator in my '14 300C hemi 5.7, would need the correct stuff to do it and this video was a big help. 👍👍👍

I would heat it up with a torch and spray it down with some break free let it sit so it soaks in for a while come back if it doesn't pull out re heat spray it down and try pulling it out.

Have you tried applying some heat with a oxygen/ acetylene torch or map gas? Heat will allow it to expand

Those are mds solenoids you can replace them with caps from a manual and program out mds. To get the lifter out rotate the cam and then remove the cam and push the lifter through the block. As others have stated if the cam bearings are toast they can be pressed out and replaced. Motor is only junked if you keep trying to pull that mushroomed lifter out the way you are and destroy that bore

Take a torch and heat the area around the lifer then pull lifter out.

Pull the cam, leave the lifter like it is, after the cam is out, stick a magnet thru the cam bore, knock the lifter down into the can tunnel, catch it with the magnet and slowly fish it out. NEVER force a lifter to come out like you're trying to do, I build these motors DAILY... great way to ruin a lifter bore and create permanent lifter chatter inside the engine even after all new components installed, I wasn't a master chrysler tech for 5 years for nothing...

It's not smart to reuse head bolts bc they are torqued to a point of stretch for a reason. If you go that deep it's cheap insurance so you don't have headgasket issues
