The Goonzquad guys truly amaze me. They fearlessly tear into even the most complex automotive systems as if they have done it dozens of times before. Most people would be terrorized when confronted with some of the projects they have undertaken and especially this Senna! I will watch each step of the way.

blow this up guys because that would be awesome 😎😎😎 and put hydraulics on it so it moves and feels real do a race build interior just to save some cash i couldn't see spending 💰💰💰 to put a full interior either way it will be expensive but definitely one of a kind and they could probably sell it for good money once they get tired of it

Funny thing, I knew exactly why the air impact wouldn’t take the drivers side wheel off. I was screaming reverse torque! Thank you Tim from DDE for teaching me this about the Sennas center locks.

The temp sticker is there to let you know if the wheel gets too hot which will effect the integrity of the wheel. If it gets too hot it’s throw out job. The gold tinge is the resin.

The gold/yellow on the carbon wheels is probably kevlar to increase strength/impact resistance, also used in bullet proof vests

It looks like high temperature resin to protect the barrel from the braking heat 👍 adding kevlar would be a good thing tho, it would help reduce fatigue. Almost all carbon wheel manufactures opt for full carbon as its stiffer than kevlar when secured in the resin matrix. These look like full carbon wheels as there's no yellow along the crack lines, as you also pointed out kevlar doesn't crack like the carbon does. If there was kevlar in these it would be easily visible among the damage as it would look like stretched fabric protruding from the broken edges. 😎

Quick tip, connect those few items that were a pain to deal with (pos, hoses, oil line) with the engine close to being fixated, but not fully installed. Can probably have it about 1" away from being seated given you that needed room.

Same processes as fiberglass repair but with carbon fiber you should use a vacuum bag to keep air bubbles out of it so it doesn't separate

You are going to need to buy all of the shock reservoirs as they most likely are blown and you will most likely have to take it to Mclaren to presurize or build your own system, Check out DDE video fo their Senna where they show how to replace it on your own

that temp strip is probably to monitor the curing temperature when the rim is under vacuum in the resin to cold or to hot can make the bonding resin brittle

The bolt for the transmission you need to add extensions and you can get to it from the side of the bracket. But you’ll need long extension and you’ll get er!
