Considering there hasn't been any contract builds like that, just employee cars this year, they aren't needed for lack of a better phrase

What you talking about? They drove it like a na rotary should be if you want it to last as a skid thrasher, They only lost water seals they are not the same as blowing a head gasket the dude doesn't know how a rotary works Worst case will be hard starting takes a while for all water coolant to get pumped out to the exhaust so can ignite the fuel then it's algood just remember to top up water n change oil regularly. Still know that 3 of the cars used to take to burnout competitions and use as drift demons leaving black lines all over town when I got my licence in 2005 every day after work for 10years+ then used most weekends since,and they all have had no coolant seal's for magority of the time. 1 of em had to remember pull trailing spark plugs when putting away so all needed to get it going next time quick crank over put plugs in and fill water up and shes ready to go burn a couple set's tires off again , with the 12a grenade port singing from 9500>11000rpm . In reality I'm not exaggerating when I say that half or more of all the rotarys that were being driven daily or weekly around New Zealand back when fuel prices were $2.00 or less a litre, had bad coolant seal's. And most of them haven't been fixed and get taken out for car shows and so on Even though New Zealand is the rotary capital of the world, we have so many rotary powered vehicles that not every one is revered and idolized like in America where it's expected to be kept in good condition and has to be fixed if something isn't right, so we have show cars aswell as hacks that aren't cared for at all, and lots of weird swaps that make no sense like last week at gas station a 1992 Mazda 323 wagon with 13b semi PP greanade port fwd on 18"S with the loudest exhaust, apparently the owner got it for 3grand and it's there only car so it's a runner to get to work. Haha , you see cars like that all the time still even with fuel prices @ $3.50 litre for 95

Stealing from Paul to pay Peter kinda stuff. IMO their reliability isn't fantastic either. Cleetus and the Mystery Machine, Kei Truck, Adam LZ's 4 rotor Supra... probably more I cant remember... all blew up in one way or another

Daniel came ALL the way from Japan for youz guys so DONT forget to run little 2 stroke oil in gas >always, the little factory mazda oil squirters are lacking in coverage in rotary engine causing premature rotor tip seals failure. 2 stroke Oil added to tank of fuel ensures full lubrication and makes it last alot longer (half ounce per gallon so around 8 to 9 ounces per tank of fuel ) .

Engines fail all the time. Shoulda brought it back to the Vargas brothers 💪. Watch em whenever i get a chance. Years of experience, and they have beat on motors that they have tuned to an inch of its life an they have been fine afterwards even tho they wer driven within an inch of there life. Thats a gud engine builder. Rotarys are hormonal anyways they like to give in. They need particular treatment ,fuel, mix, and tuning. Jus my op 🤷‍♂️ glad to see the truck back tho 😁
