I’m an Air Force veteran just like Gun Nuts is. I seriously doubt he spent his time “chasing camels” while deployed. Even if he were law enforcement he’d have been doing gate guard duty and spending his down time playing video games at the MWR tent and drinking coffee from Green Beans or even possibly smoking a Cuban cigar he bought on base. Truth be told, I don’t think he ever deployed. My deployment wasn’t shit and I don’t talk about it. I spent half my rotation in the TMO Passenger Travel office making sure everyone could get home and the other half working out of the shipping area. I don’t talk about how easy I had it, and how I was never in any real danger because others weren’t so lucky. I don’t talk about “chasing camels” or “hunting hajjis” or any other alliterative description someone wants to come up with because 1) I didn’t do those things and 2) I do know people who did those things and they either don’t talk about it at all or they don’t just bring it up all casually like he did. I’d like to see some evidence that this young man was in any way shape or form in a combat arms AFSC (that’s MOS in the other branches). Given his level of projection I’d be willing to wager he was either worked in the Military Personnel Flight (MPF) or had some other cozy desk job that didn’t require him to actively be in harm’s way. When Paul says he was a Marine and then transferred over to be A Nasty Girl (national guard for you civilian types) I take him at his word. When Paul describes his training and his time in the military I can tell he’s being authentic by the way he communicates it. We recognize our own through our language. I don’t get that from Caleb or whoever this kid is. Anyone that has to brag about how good they are probably aren’t as good as they claim or they’re just making shit up to sound impressive. Paul, I’m sorry some dolt a trying to get views by dragging your name through the mud.

I just bumped into the “I’m Dead” video like it seems several other people have today. Usually, I really struggle to focus on anything, even subjects I’m interested in, for any length of time. I have absolutely no idea what this man is talking about, but there’s something so peaceful about him that has my full attention.. The light breeze in the background, the birds, the scenery, and his voice. I feel like I could fall asleep to him talking and actually wake up feeling well rested. It has such a strong energy of contentment. I’m glad he was dedicated enough to create such a lengthy digital archive for all of us to enjoy.

I had never heard of Gun Nuts Media or Paul Harrel before this evening. I clicked on a 5-minute video from GNM recommended to me by KZbin. I left that video at about the 90-second mark. I sought out Mr. Harrell's channel as a result of the GNM video. I have to give credit to GNM for steering me away from his channel to truly exceptional content..

Out of curiosity I went back to his channel to see what he was up to these days. Looks like he has deleted all the vids about Paul and posted nothing in 9 months. Yeah he really shot himself in the foot with that one.

I started training with the NRA in the Boy Scouts. I appreciate Paul Harrell's experience. He puts a lot of effort into each video and that's apparent. I'm not an attorney, so I don't know all of the angles that necessitated this "Rebuttal." However, to me, I usually "get" Paul's humor, and true authorities (whatever that is), sometimes fail to make me laugh. I recall that Ronald Reagan, like a Toastmaster, usually told a joke or two. Paul Harrell doesn't do that, but sometimes he is just funny in his own right, and laughing is good for the soul--so I watch Paul's videos. That's just my opinion and experience. However, I have noticed that although he calls himself "boring" and "tedious" at times, this "Rebuttal" has 1.1 Million views, so I know I'm not the only person that thinks Paul has a lot to contribute, period, and I'm glad he does. I became a Patreon subscriber specifically because I do actually watch and listen to Paul. I was shocked that the number of subscribers was barely north of 2,000. Paul Harrell deserves more than that.

@@wingracer1614 making yourself look like an untrustworthy source by poisoning the well and deceptively editing content from a throughly trusted individual is bound to catch up with people. I'm glad that this channel continues to provide outstanding content (even during the time of the Great Coof and the concurrent ammunition shortage). Uncle Paul is down to earth and provides knowledge without belittling his audience. That is much better than most people in this space.

@@AmBotanischenGarten Sir, I believe that you mis-read the subscribers numbers. It reads as 652,000 subscribers; 652K -> the K denoting "thousand". Have a good one!

Paul is an adult. He handled himself like a man in his rebuttal. I can only hope to be that decent of a person. Won't ever be as fine a shot.

In Paul's position, I might be tempted to settle this on a two way shooting range. Just sayin'.

Heard he's a used Taurus salesman at a pawn shop for minimum wage. Way more than he would make on KZbin so good for him. 😂

Paul, you’re absolutely correct: it takes far less time and less effort to tell a lie than to tell the truth. Your ‘boring’ commentary is engaging, interesting, informative, and useful. So it’s not boring.
