I'ma fan of this new 7.2 Recalbox! I just downloaded it and everything just works with no fuss. The graphics could be less jagged though, but it's nice to be able to just play a game without having to mess with settings like in Retropie (no offense). For a noob like myself. Recalbox 7.2 is a god send.

I used recalbox on a pi zero 1st gen, but it was slow to be honest. Maybe it's better with a more advanced pi?

Hi, I realised that Recalbox gives me lower resolution graphics as compared to RetroPie running in Twister OS. Tried to change to higher resolution but can't seem to find the settings for it. BTW I was running NES games on them.

Yes day Installed on my I7 4970 it does show Recalbox though network I click on it gives me err it better for GameCube games I cant copy games on to it from my newer i7 8700. only way I can though USB stick however I don't have this trouble copy to older pc ASUS EB1033 . any ideas

The restarts happen because emulationstation is crashing (there's a shell script which restarts the process based off the return code). For me, emulationstation crashes because of a seg fault when I try to shutdown the system from KODI, which is pretty annoying. I'm trying to figure out where is the problem, but I'm still gettting familiar with the emulationstation code.

does recall box have hiscores? So if I leave the game and shut the pi off and re enter my scores will still be there? I am trying to find an easy to use system to put into an arcade.

Installed onto a Pi 400 and the overclock option does not even show.... not tried a stared Pi4 yet. The overclock what my first setting after swapping the AB button, Im a long time retropie user and until now never used recalbox due to the AB being swapped. My question are you running standard 7.2 or any custom build ? I unless the Pi400 cant be overclocked don't see why not

Just the standard build May work by Overclocking with config.txt

@@leepspvideo Its a Pi400 thing, took the SD card from Pi400 and moved to my normal Pi4 2GB and the overclock option shows up, set it to 2000 which is my normal overclock then return SD to the PI 400 it still boots OK but the menu option for overclock goes away like before, Im unsure if the overclock sticks. config file: I didn't try that as it has a line commented out in the config file saying not to overclock it in config file and to use a recalbox over clock file, but couldn't find that file..

@@TheRealJoelKolb Once I installed Batocera I got 25fps on menu. While updating it stuck on black screen. Tried to update manually, but no one in the forums are telling which folder need to put the update via ssh.

@@CloudOmegaVII I'm not a big fan of the Batocera forums. They seem pretty active, but I have never received a reply when I've asked a question. Their wiki does cover your issue though (wiki.batocera.org/upgrade_manually). You have to download the update file for your platform from batocera.org/upgrades and extract the .tar.xz file to the BATOCERA partition of your USB drive or SD card. That's all there is to manually upgrading (or downgrading too).

i have lasted version installed on my ASUS EB1033 it great however GameCube games legs I have installed on my newer pc has I7 4970 all game cube runs lot better. I wish they better on ASUS EB1033 i think something do with low ram 2 gb I want upgrade 4 gb if it can It looks like ps2 slim

I managed to run my roms from external drive by creating dir V: ecalbox\ and run command: mklink /J roms V: oms should be as easy to to do the same if you run retropie-mount directory with: mklink /J roms V: etropie-mount
