both recall and recollect CAN mean remember

@@WiseWeeabo They can, but how would you then explain the difference (if any) between "she couldn't recall his name" and "she couldn't recall his name"? Remember the flowers for the wedding vs Recall the flowers for the wedding.

@@pravmir The only reason recall the flowers is problematic is because the word recall has many other meanings outside of the context of memory. in the end remember works for everything, recall and recollect are just about poetic flare.
