Many thanks for another Outstanding AF video. I didn't mention it earlier, as this is a relatively new laptop, well, new to me..., and I thought maybe because I hadn't had it long that maybe you weren't coming up in my feed because my cache was relatively clean. Anyway, I'm glad to know I'm not alone in that...., tho I am a little disappointed by it too. Living with someone that has to self promote and self publish, I can understand the struggle. Since all you ask is to just watch and share outstanding posts, I can do that much for you, gladly, and will be more diligent about it going forward.

I mean the direction a marlinspike needs to lay the way to make a proper stake the tip on how to make a t handle to tighten knots etc.... etc... and yes etc....!!!!! The list goes on and on hell I even learned how to pace count from him the proper way. He didn't half ass it by just going to a field he actually went to the forest up and down hills all that.

For reference, look at Sean's hands throughout the videos. Cut to shit, discolored and dirty due to hard work and temperature. Lately saturated because of the weather... you can't fake hard work. I've noticed half of these "bushcraft" youtubers basically just screw around in the woods with a tarp for five minutes, then record themselves trying to be a Wish.com philosopher. Waxing poetic about bullshit and drinking bourbon, until the tiny fire they built stops heating the half built shelter, and they pass out shivering.
@brianhelgeson12083 жыл бұрын
@ Seth Dunlap, Proof is in the pudding. I noticed the beat up hands along time ago. Scrapes on his arms etc. All that aside. What he says and does. You can tell when they know what they're doing versus one who just copies the work of others. To many people out there talking crap. They evidently have nothing better to do. Just time bombs of incompetence waiting to explode. 👁❤🏕❇🔥🥓 others.

I think we all know the man knows what he's doing if you've followed him the last 12-13 years. I seriously doubt he'd massacre an entire freshly planted green belt maniacally just to build a lean to or similar structure. And if you're not familiar with his content scroll back and watch them, learn what he's about before you start virtue signaling and passing uneducated judgements. And Marco.... Perhaps some of your viewers have never seen an unmanaged pine forest. Georgia-Pacific doesn't plant pine forests like that, but piney woods predate corporate exploitation. Where I grew up, the hills had been virgin pine forest, and the lumber companies had clear cut them ALL. The pine forests that grew back were never planted at all. They just grew, with poplar, aspen, maple, sumac, locust and (as you say) a whole variety of wood types, Most of the trees were Pinus resinosa, red pine. But definitively not all. In fact, where I grew up looks a Whole Lot like the Eastern woodlands you camp in. Down to the beaver ponds full of small sunfish and perch. Watching you camp is very nostalgic for me. Keep on keepin' on! FWIW, I grew up in the Susquehanna river valley in central Pennsylvania.

Love your videos! Me and my 8 year old watch ALL the time and then go out and do what we’ve learned. He even says outstanding now when we eat something good or learn a new skill. Only thing we haven’t tried yet is overnighter without an enclosed tent. Do animals try to mess with you at night when sleeping under a tarp?

Typical grunt, boil the water so it’s sterile for coffee then pours and mixes in the boiling water and then stirs it with a stick off the ground, that’s what I would do

If you build a website that has a subscription fee for patrons as a backup to your KZbin channel you can drive traffic there and no matter what KZbin does you won’t lose as much while KZbin plays games with their creators.

Shaun, seriously, you need to collaborate with Dan at Coalcracker and put a book out. what with your bloody fantastic shelters, knots etc and Dans neat tricks, it would bloody great as a field manual.

Another Outstanding AF video . Awesome shelter , a healthy meal (the 3 main food groups covered - bacon , beef , and cheese) don't get no better than that 👍👍

I don't know why the hell it's entertaining to watch a guy build a hut in the woods by himself but I'm a fan. Your living the dream man. What I wouldn't do to have 1 night away from it all...
