Corp, whenever I go out I take a trash bag. Like a strong garden bag in the UK. I pickup what is see and clean as I go. IF SHTF a dumped mattress is tinder and a plastic bottle is a water carrier OR cordage. The most important thing I gain from your channel (apart from the great and generous and justified use of bacon) is the fact that you talk through your thought process providing the 'how'! Keep it up please?

Tree Fort in the Woods... this is my personal opinion, so as always, YMMV. I watch your channel (and others) to learn survival skills. The tree fort and all of the fort videos, while entertaining, are not what I am primarily interested in seeing. Don't get me wrong, I watch them all and all the way through but I don't have the drive to watch them right away. THIS video on the other hand, is exactly what I come to Corporal's Corner to watch.

I hate seeing the trash others leave behind. But you make it a positive thing. You turned it into cordage. Your vision is outstanding. Always learning on a Sunday, thanks to you. As far as the forts go, I love them, but you gotta do whatever it takes to keep your channel going. If you can't do them anymore, then it is what it is. I'd rather have your channel then not. Have a great week.

I am in the naval cadets (14) and I just noticed how at 7:25 is how we make shear legs, a “primitive” lifting device used to load and off load ships as well as use on land. They are still used on ships today. Using an overhand knot then (usually) wrapping 4 loops around it, 13 spirals going down the length of the two “legs” then 4 spirals going around the lashings vertically to seal and tighten it with a clove hitch as he then shows. Typically they would use 4-5 inch thick rope and large telephone pole sized logs as their legs.

I like that you don’t always grab for some big bushcraft knife with full tang blade, when a Swiss Army knife will do the trick. The use of wedges today was really cool too. It’s important for people to understand bushcraft is about understanding how to use materials in nature and not about who has the best gear. And on top off that, in a survival scenario you’re most likely just gonna have a pocket knife or multitool. Keep up the good work! Thank you 🙏
