The trades from today were pretty straightforward. I broke the ice on the first trade on the stock that was up like 400% INTZ but broke even +$28 then took a trade on another stock SMRF for a curl only made about $400 and then MYSZ popped up and I jumped in on the micro pull back at $6.75

I have followed you since 20 days ago. Today I've had my first 100 bucks profit in the trading view simulator. My account in the simulator is 500 dollars, but i started only with 100 just to prove i have enough discipline to make that account to grow. During the first 20 day i made 160 bucks frofit in the simulator (live) in my 21st day (today) i set the account for 500 dolars. Only 2 trades and 100 profit. I hope i will be strong enough not to break the rules, and become consistent. Thank you very much Roos. Here in Venezuela things are so complicated, my work is not enough to maintain my average living needs, so as a 65 years old I think you have come to my life to help me. Fridays are usually my bad days I might get rid of daily goal method it also cost me today and a few times before today I was close to my daily goal this morning before 930 and push a few trades to get there and before I knew it I went for daily goal green to five times max loss and I told myself don’t worry about daily goal just find set ups you have the whole and by the end of the day ended up finishing above my daily goal but told myself is this worth the stress the market is going to give what it wants not what I want making feel to get rid of the perfectionist attitude either way thank you Ross hope everybody has a good weekend

dont worry. youre not the only one. im still holding my losses and only holding in case they do come back up but at this point writing it off as a loss. put some rules in place and now following tighter restrictions until i get back up to a certain amount before allowing an increase in share size. i took waaaaaaay too big share size starting out and just caught bad jack knifes and then held hoping it would bounce. since the restrictions im up 1k in 3 weeks with 92% acc and no losses if you dont count the ones im still holding haha

@directorm.o.c.8461 Exactly the same for me. Rather break even or be down small then to hold and be down big. You can also try to divide your trades instead of 1 to 3 or more. GL.

In my trading career. I get more happy about picking the right stocks, then winning in them. Even though I won on the same stocks you did, I went red trying to swing on pltr. Showed the discipline in MYSZ and INTZ, but not so much on PLTR. Didn't even follow the rules I placed for PLTR specifically. Anyway, was really glad to see the master chose 2 of my 3 traded stocks today. Means my scanner is doing its job.

Please don’t give up . Why not just scale down and or do some other things that will take the stress away. I agree it’s stressful and that you should quit if it hurts your quality of life but make sure that first you have tried to make it more manageable because trading is a beautiful art that will give you so much more than just money if you can persevere .

One thing I find very challenging is what to make up of a headline, a piece of news. How do you know if the news is good and would potentially cause a stock to move.

Ultimately I focus on the price action, but certain types of headlines are known to produce bigger moves. The longer you trade the better you’ll get at understanding the difference between strong/weak headlines

Same applies to the loss? - Start with 50 shares until up more than $10. Does this mean in the overall account? Probably very easy grasp but just feel it contradicts itself. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I focus on risk being in cents per share. For examples an entry with 100 shares of a stock at $5 is $500, but my max loss is $4.85 or $15. Profit target is 5.25

Hello, I wanted to ask Ross or anyone who can answer these questions: 1. When a stock rises a lot in the premarket, are the halts activated? 2. How do you handle those moments when stocks stop due to volatility and then trading resumes? Thanks.

There are no halts premarket. During regular hours halts are a min of 5min. Typically stocks that halt going up will go higher on resumption. If you have 2 or more halts in a row going up a reversal becomes a risk on resumption

Took a small loss today more so because I got emotionally spooked by being in the red for a couple min (I've had 3 solid days for my small account) and I sold off too early. 5 min later the stock I was trading went up ~.30 cents, bummer. I need to learn how to leave my emotions out of it and trust my instinct by following the criteria you've taught me. Excited for next week!
