Not super common in western cinema; but I thinks it’s pretty fun when the movie ends and the “bad guy” seemingly “wins”

But if Rusty weren't framed by Tommy and Rico maybe he would have taken the case and even solved it to the the point that it would have revealed that it was his own wife. So in the end it's only sad for Carolyn who had to die such a merciless death 💀💀
