Lexi these all sound so amazing! 💛 I've read a few of them, but I added basically the rest of them to my tbr! ESPECIALLY The House in the Cerulean Sea! You completely convinced me. Ahhhh Lock Every Door was one of my favorite reads last year! One of the best thrillers I've ever read. "Books can give you magic when you need it most" 💕you are a literal queen and I could listen to you talk about books all day. This was such a wonderful video!

I've read: The House with Chicken Legs (gave it 3 stars I think. I got sick of Baba Yaga. But I read another book with her in it and gave that one 5 stars. The Girl Who Speaks Bear.) I now wanna read: The Bone Gap Wild Beauty Still Life with Tornado The Astonishing Color of After The House in the Cerulean Sea (I have this one somewhere on my IMMEDIATE TBR. I should be reading it some time before June of next year. Can't wait! I'm gonna try to work it out to be able to read these in the 2nd half of next year since I have a TBR set until mud June/beginning of July. I hope they're all as good to me as they are to you!
@enchantedadventuresthrough30653 жыл бұрын
I just checked my list. I have about 58 weeks prepared with 5 books each week. No week has The House in the Cerulean Sea so I'm adding it to my list for July. The next week of books has 7 books and I know I won't be able to do it so I'm guessing I need to add an extra week of reading to the list. I also read a physical book once a month so the list will keep changing around and will end up adding a couple of weeks of planned reading to the list. Once I'm done with this list, I need to make a new one of all the audiobooks I've accumulated since I made it and do my number generator game again. I should also have more physical books by then and will have no idea where to start. Oh, and I was supposed to do the 50-state challenge this year, where you read a book set in each of the 50 United States and because all the ones I had picked (I think there were 10) ended up being 1-2 stars(ALMOST ALL OF THEM), I gave up so I could read more 5 star reads. I think only one of the 10 was a 5 star read (Laura and Lisa Long's book, I forget the name) and 1 was a 4 star read I think (Sabrina & Corrina). Maybe others were in this category but I can't remember at this point... I hope you will always be lucky enough to find new books to read and love. It's amazing when you find those, right? It makes me so happy to finish a book that I adored!

The Ten Thousand Doors of January by Alix E. Harrow was definitely a 5 star book for me. My wanna-be linguist self geeked out about the metaphor used and the eloquent writing. Also, the story is lovable and cute as well despite the slightly sad ending (which might have been only sad for me, though).
