Recent Acquisitions - ALF, Redemption Skeletons, Animal Warriors of the Kingdom & Beta Ray Bill

I just picked up an ALF figure tonight after hunting it for weeks. This thing is loaded with a lot more articulation than I thought. Not only can you get the mouth fully closed, but both the top and bottom halves of the jaw are on ball joints. If you want to, you can actually turn his bottom jaw 180° like he had a really gnarly injury after crashing his spaceship. I'm having so much fun with this thing :)

Great idea for a video. Just blitz through new stuff. I don't have the room or resources to collect all the things and stuff but it sure is fun to "window shop" via your KZbin and social media and this is fantastic. Love the two channel format. Could the red cape from Neca's Renet work? I've not opened mine yet. The AWOK figures looks so cool. I haven't gotten any of mine in yet, but I do have 2 from wave one that should be here soon... and 13 other figures after that. I ended up ordering 5 apes and 5 felines, but 2 of each of the feline ones that I ordered.

I was also bummed the mouth wouldn't close, and I still can't figure out how to do it. I have two of them and the mouth gets close but isn't shutting all the way like yours did. Glad it's possible though, maybe I'll try to heat it up. Just seems like the mold/shape of the mouth stops it.

Yeah definitely work that jaw hinge a bit. It does have quite a range of movement. Even a little bit of back and forth.

I absolutely love the NECA ALF, he's very movable and you can just do all sorts of fun weird things with him, put him in different weird situations he would have never been in on the original show. I have mine wearing one of the cartoon Turtles in Disguise trenchcoats and a revolver from a Joker figure in his hand (his "pointing" finger hands can also double as trigger finger hands for certain guns)

The skeleton reminds me of the ones from the 1963 Jason and the Argonauts (the fight scene animated by Ray Harryhausen) depending on the articulation, and balance, I can see it being good for stop motion animations. Also said it before, do love it when I see your P.O. Box being in Manchester, as I live in Manchester over in the UK

I skipped directly to the ALF action figure because, while I don't have the money for it for some time (I haven't had the funding to squeeze in premium collectibles recently), I wanted an in depth look at the toy. But damn! He comes with his ALF The Animated series shirt?! Didn't see that since it was hidden behind him in the package. I'm a big proponent of his animated prequel series (Shout and Tubi have both that and ALF Tales streaming, BTW), and I'm glad it's seeing some representation.

I don’t really buy toys outside some vintage lines and character specific current toys, statues, etc (Jean Geey), but those Animal Warriors are soooooooo tempting.
