Recent Art Projects In October - Ink + Film Photography

Learning from other artists is one of my favourite ways to improve my own art.
Today I'm hanging out with Kris, a Sydney based artist. He makes amazing pieces with Charcoal and recently he has started using Ink as a medium.
Let's see what he creates & I want to share some lessons I have learned from him through filming this video ✨

I loooove how the polaroids turned out, there is this very warm and personal feeling they bring? idk but they turned out very special. I had the opportunity to play with ink on a japanese calligraphy workshop and it stuck with me since then, is one of my favourite mediums cause like Kris said you can't erase it and it makes you see your "mistakes" on paper as simple expressions and part of the artwork now. I find it very authentic in a way. Also 100% agree with the blue hour opinion, I find so so soothing and beautiful! Is also one of my favourite time of the day to shoot. Can't wait for the next video! 🤗

Wow. Amazing. I am Japanese and I love the art with Japanese stuff like 墨 and 筆 in this video. I mean… This is perfect. Also, your pictures are awesome.
