I just started getting into Call of Duty towards the end of last year. I'm really not a fan of on online multiplayer, but local multiplayer is great. I was surprised at how much detail is in Black Ops 2 and Ghosts is really great so far (I can't believe it's the black sheep of Call of Duty).I thought about buying all of the games as well but decided not to, MW3 is 5 dollars at gamestop and only reason I was going to buy it was because of the survival mode but right before I went I played the alien version on Ghosts and had a blast with it. I actually fell in love with the masks that I wound up buying one on ebay.

Great pickups. I used to play Xybots at the arcade and it had those twistable joystics for the turns and was fun to play. That was nice of him to give you a deal on the boxed PC games as well. I have Omikron on the Dreamcast and since I haven't played the PC version, I don't know if there are any major differences. When finding an item you've been looking for, the distance really sucks. I found one I've been looking for a long time for a great price of $9 but since the person selling it was in another country, the shipment was going to cost around $50. That sure was upsetting.

I think those trading sites you mentioned are good for certain mid-level games that aren't too high in demand and have a decent supply are within reason to pickup, but games that are highly sought after are tremendously inflated as you had pointed out (Super Metroid, Legend of Zelda). Other online options like Ebay and Amazon have a larger number of buyers and sellers so I would argue for the games that more people are looking to pick up, Ebay and Amazon are much more competitive options that will more than likely drive the price down. If I listed a copy of Super Metroid on Ebay for 75-80 dollars it would never sell because other sellers are pricing and selling their copies around 40. Competition between sellers helps the consumer big time.

I admire your respect for the single player campaign for call of duty, I've only played the black ops II for wii, but I sadly only ever joked that it must be bad if folks only play the multiplayer, but considering everyone sells the previous copy to keep playing multiplayer, the prices for the previous cod game is pretty cheap and worth the few bucks for a decent FPS.

If you can keep your eye out MJ, Elite Forces 2 is extremely rare because it got pulled some store shelves during it's lifespan due to the publisher losing the rights to the IP.
