Billy Sheehan is pretty awesome. I love how he and Steve Vai play about as fast as they can in unison during that tune. Great stuff. The first DLR album Eat 'Em & Smile is a classic!

BTW: You have mentioned the Raiden series some time ago so when I saw a PC version of Raiden II I've bought it instantly. Thank you so much for introducing the series to me. I've felt in love with this game - it's absolutely amazing. The music is in CD-Audio tracks and the game works on Win7 x64 with X360 controller - whoa. I didn't know that old shoot 'em up games can be that entertaining.

We haven't had the distraction of Cable TV since the 90s. So when most people are watching bad TV shows or sports after work, we are playing video games (or listening to music or painting). It's as simple as that.

Second, I am really excited to hear you will be doing an updated room tour, I'm very much looking fwd to that video. Lastly, you shld take some time to look over the Sega CD library. While we all know there are many bad games, it also has some hidden gems in the mix. If you love shooters, check out Keio Flying Squadron, its fun and entertaining!

mag max was the bomb when I was a kid, rented it all the time at the local movie rental store. Some good albums, a lot of the hair metal bands were actually metal bands that wanted to make it by putting out ballads, really heavy gems on some of their stuff. I recommend Warrant's Uncle Tom's Cabin, David Lee Roth's Paradise, and you can't go wrong with Def leppard (their last Album "Songs from the sparkle lounge" was really good. Great Video MetalJesusRocks!!!

Serious Sam isn't all about non-stop action. Like any good Doom clone, there are periods of calm, giving you a chance to catch your breath & look for hidden areas. In fact, I recommend really taking your time to explore the very first level in the game & find all the secrets. Amusing & well worth it. :)

Seeing as you are into racing games maybe you can help me identify one. It was definitely in 3D and from what I remember of the graphics it was probably on the PS1/N64. Possibly the SNES. All I remember about the game was there was one level me and my cousins played to death which wasn't a race at all. It was just this open area with tons of ramps, raised platforms, loops, etc.. We used to drive around playing tag with the cars using the ramps, etc. to get away from each other. Any ideas?

@MetalJesusRocks Have you played Raiden IV and/or Raiden Fighter Aces on the Xbox 360? I have been wanting to pick them up for quite some time now. I was waiting for that inevitable (usually) price drop. But, that has not happened. IV is currently $59 and Aces $43 on Amazon. Barbie Horse Adventures is notorious for being among the first of less than 40 Xbox games that were initially backward-compatible on the Xbox 360. More games were obviously added after that, but I guess the game just got a cult following for that, and it doesn't hurt that it probably didn't sell that well either. That being the case, there probably aren't that many copies out in the wild.

Hey, Jason. I am a big fan of your channel, actually PeteDorr brought me here and I am glad he did. I need a little help. I was really into shmups lately and was thinking about buying a Sega console because I never owned one and I heard they are good for shooters. I just don't know which one to get. I live in Israel and I need to go to ebay and explicitly search for games, garage sales are not an option. I was really looking at Saturn but imports are kinda costy. So: DC, Saturn or MegaDrive? Thx
@AndyVoong92512 жыл бұрын
To be honest, The Tokyo Xtreme Race Drift games was hit or miss for me in my opinion. After playing those games, I felt it was missing something to make it more better overall. You should try, getting Initial D Extreme Stage for the PS3. It's a fun Japanese import racing game from Sega. Also, if you go to the arcades, look for Initial D AA Stage 6 or Maximum Tune 3DX+ arcade cabinets. Those racing games, are so much fun and you could easily spend hours playing those games.

I owned pooyan on a pirated cartridge back in 90 something, but it was a nintendo version for it... you're supposed to stop all wolves (yes those are wolves) from getting to the ground and then snatching your kids or whatever those are... the NES version is really good, not sure if it ever came out in america. The cartridge im talking was bought here in Mexico, so a lot of chinese/japanese "imports" of pirated games were flowing around that time

Hi, The Commodore 64 version of Pooyan is really great! Better graphics and visuals make it an easy job to see what's going on thus making the player know what to do.I don't have this game before me now, but the wolves (or whatnot) tries to glide down to the bottom of the screen where they'll take the elevator up on top of you dropping a big boulder on your head!! You don't want that. Fortunately they travel down under baloons and you have to shoot them, making the beasts drop to their death!
