I'm definitely going to try the shorts pattern again, got some good suggestions on how to fix it in the comments. That wrap dress will probably end up going down as one of my tried and trues seeing as to the fact that there's already 3 of them LOL

I love the top in the first outfit. I am wondering if you have enough fabric left over to add a ruffle or short peplum to make it longer. I love the shorts with the pleat, ashame it doesn't lay flat. Super cute pattern. Love all three wrap dresses.

Thank you! It’s really a hunt trying to find the perfect one! This one is a good base, I did have to adjust the bodice but it’s the closet I’ve came to my expectations of what I would want the ‘perfect’ wrap dress to look like.

wow. Make #1, lt brown top and skirt - gorgeous. looks great on you too. M#2 dark br skirt. Wow, again. Just put that pattern on my wish list for the next sale. (btw, I think your fit issue with the pleat sticking out in the back has to do with needing a little more fabric (room) for the fit to fall nicely over your bum. I am going by the drag line that sits above your hip (on the side view) and angles back to your high bum. All your makes are great. I was trying to decide what i wanted to make the skirt from (your pink ruffled one) and when you said a denim sew-a-long, YES!! I will be joining you for that!

AH! See this why I love youtube, you pointed out something to me that I would've never caught. I was thinking it must be a fault of the fabric but now knowing this I'll look into doing a full seat adjustment (which has been something I've been thinking I should look into for a while now). Omg laughed my head off when you flipped the hair! The Mave skirt from true bias has more ease in the hip if you are interested. Too bad about the shorts cause the length is perfect. Perhaps a heavy weight fabric as an interlining to the back of the legs might weigh it down?

LOL, I was trying so hard not to! Adding that pattern to the list, thanks for the share. I do agree about the length with the shorts, it’s spot on. I’ll scour the stash and see if I can find something to line/weigh down the hem. I appreciate the tips!

I have the first Simplicity Pattern you showed and will try to sew that also. I like the colors you picked for that,neutral and nice! I picked some colors that may pop too much for the style😅. Also i like your signature side part for your locs but the middle part is also nice!

😆😆😆 sometime you just have to dance it out 😆😆 the iron needed some video time too that day LOL. Yes, the Library fabric is 100% Cotton. It’s a REALLY light cotton blend though but still feels like a great quality and amazing on the skin!
