Absolutely agree about the pockets - they defined bulk sometimes and for a dressy occasion aren't quite right.

Beautiful makes and my favourite is the vogue dress. I have this pattern too but haven't quite got to it yet. How did you find the sizing? ie measurements vs packet suggested size...is it a good amount of ease or does it run big?

Mine too :) I made the small - it wasn't super fitted on me in the top section like I've seen some others, but I liked that better. It did have a good amount of ease for me. I'm glad it had the ties.

@@jessdoeslife__ By my measurements I'm between sizes M for bust and hip, L for waist...I bought the larger size pattern packet but looks like I should size down if there is ease. Thanks for the info and sharing ❤️
