And for Powerless yes agree! Such a redundant book but also fun? Teenage me would have eaten it up! We have a group of 8th graders at my school that is bingeing the series and seeing them with their tabs and chatting with them in the morning is so fun and wholesome 😊

I am definitely still interested in where A Fate Inked in Blood goes. The setting was top tier for me but the characters kinda sucked. But I’m still going to read book 2.

So agree about the Pumpkin Spice Cafe…i wanted a cute, cozy, fall book, but the instalust throughout that book was not my jam. A waste of a brilliant cozy, fall cover IMO!! 😊

I didn’t enjoy dragonfruit but I feel like I could have if it wasn’t a standalone. As far as the dragon hinting I THINK it’s supposed to be comparative to whalers in our own world and showing the horror and sadness of hunting big sea creatures
