How do you not love those Dell Giants? Love those Disney Christmas covers. :-) More amazing stuff as usual my friend. Keep it up!

Thank you for the kind words, Davis. I love Dell Giants, not really particularly fond of Walt Disney comics/characters. I rather have a Walter Lance of Looney Tunes comic. The Christmas cover is very nice. Thank you for your support.

Unknown Worlds of Science Fiction is one of those titles that seems ignored by most collectors. But I'd love to take a look at some of those stories. They adapted many great science fiction writers of the time. Was that expensive?

Agreed, Paulo. Highly under-rated title. It was not that expensive, under $20.00.

Great pick ups Steve.. Gonna have to put the PB's from Hell book on my list .. I love the old Scifi and horror pb's from the 60's through the 80's.. The same with the pulp book and a Weird Tales. Nice looking Dell Giants.. Not a huge Disney fan myself but those are definitely worth having . I have the Golden Age Greats on order right now. I love the fanzines .. My collection of the Amazing World of DC Comics is one of the most cherished things in my collection. Those Fandoms Agent zines are NICE ! I really enjoyed the Hunter series in Eerie.. Very cool commission ! The Rook was also a very interesting character.. Right with you on being a sucker for the time travel stuff ! Kudos on the Heavy Metal #1 ! I remember getting a few of the Haunt of Horror and hiding the Satana issues under my bed lol Another fantastic video brother .. I'm having a ball catching up !

The PB for Hell is a must. A fun great read. Again, I am glad you enjoyed the video. Thank you for the kind words. Nice to hear you have a collection of Amazing World of DC Comics. Well Done! They are getting pricy. I do have a few issues in my collection. Fanzines are like time machines of fandom. LOL, funny about those Haunt of Horrors. Thank you again for taking the time on viewing and your support.

Very nice books, Steve! I love the Pulps but I haven't started collecting them due to the nicer ones being very expensive, as you say. I have my hands full now just trying to grab all the Bronze Horror I can. I would, however, go after a Weird Tales with an original H.P.L. story just to have one in my collection, and I plan to at some point. Looks like we're kindred spirits in our love for Lovecraft. Great fanzines, man! The older fanzines and underground comics are currently bargains in the marketplace compared to key comics issues. I've been buying the Horror oriented ones, especially anything with Wrightson, Frazetta, or Corben art. The more recent fanzines/mags I really enjoy are by TwoMorrows Publishing, especially Comic Book Artist and Back Issue. Hunter is really cool, one of my favorite Eerie characters. Child and Spook were fun as well. Mid-grade Warrens are still pretty cheap-around $5-$10 if you shop around, but high grade copies have gotten pricey in the last few years. Thanks to Jim Warren and the famed Warren Warehouse most of those issues are still readily available after all these years. If not for the Warren Warehouse it would be extremely difficult to complete runs of the Warren titles. I'm glad I won those battles years ago when they were still relatively inexpensive. I plan to feature good coverage of the Warren titles in my vids when I finally get that going. Warren merch, too. Love that Captain Company! :) Great Satana cover on that HoH #5! Nice Monster mags there, Steve. I love those things even more than regular comics. Thanks for the great video, brother!

Thank you for the wonderful and insightful comment, Michael. I would LOVE a HPL Weird Tales. That would be amazing. I did not know of the Warren Warehouse. Nice. I am starting to get into Warren more and more. I enjoyed the Spook as well. I enjoy Alter Ego and Back Issue. Just had a letter printed in issue 100 of Back Issue. I would love to see your videos. Thank you for the kind words. Take care, Michael.

Thanks for your nice reply, Steve. The Warren Warehouse is where Jim Warren kept the back issues you see advertised in those many wonderful Captain Company ads in the backs of the magazines. I believe he set aside a small percentage of the print runs to offer as back issues. I've seen it written that if not for the Warren Warehouse then Creepy #1 would be a $5,000 book. I don't know about that, but it's obvious that most of the Warren issues would be far more scarce than they are now which would result in some crazy secondary market prices since the demand for Warren has always been high. When the Warren holdings were liquidated at auction after bankruptcy in the early '80s thousands of copies of Warren back issues flooded the marketplace, which accounts for most of the great number of them we see today. Even with that great supply the market has absorbed them over the years which has driven prices to what they are now. I've seen common Warren issues rise from $1-$3 to $20-$50 in high grade in the past 20 years. I believe they will continue to escalate in price so it would be wise to start building runs ASAP. The best resource for all things Warren is a huge book called Gathering Horror. Only 300 were printed so when they occasionally appear on eBay they're pricey. Another good one is The Warren Companion by TwoMorrows Publishing. That one's OOP and expensive as well. I'll be covering much of this in my vids when I get underway. Later, Steve.
